great post I guess you're right in the end I would hate to change a bunch of rules to keep pleasure hunters from there best chance to title there dog. Maybe they should keep all the rules the same and go to the grnd night format you win 5 hunts you gotcha a nite champion.

I don't see the decending tree rule passing..it was brought up and voted on last time ,,and the B&T assc was the only one to vote for it.

Do like the rule minusing a dog for quiting the track and coming in while your shineing the tree.

And the one letting spectators shine the tree

really a dog should have to open on the ground every 3 min. and a dog that just falls treed should be gone.the count down rule has not one thing to do with tittleing dogs, these 1 cast hunts are doing that.awarding a tree dog that don,t open on track is a joke, don,t a dog surpose run a track first. leave everything the way it is and change the way a dog is tittle.we are always talking tree, but i never see anything about how that coon got to that tree.

Rule Changes

Change the rules however yall want! It is not gonna cause the folks that hunt other breeds to see your coons! If your dog is split with a coon and their dogs ain't there with yours, you can only hope they are honest enough to see your coons too! My hound should have won at least 5-6 more hunts than he has, but if he doesn't get credit for the coons he does tree it will not matter what rules are changed!!! It's hard to cure blindness!!! JMO

All this does is eliminate the dog that covers for 75 after 4:59 and all he gets is 25 now, which in my opinion needs a switch for covering. I hate a late backing *** dog. If they are running a track together he will get his 75 on the track, but don't quit doing nothing to come cover my tree late and expect to get 75. I hate that. And you see it in this KC the worst.

I agree 100%!!

I really hope some don't pass. Not in favor of minus a dog every time you turn around. Down my way your lucky to tree one coon in a hunt. If we start to then I think the hunts will really lose alot of people.
