So looks like the ones that can afford to run a decent business aren't crying. What's not normal about taking care of your employees, who you expect to take care of you?

Of course,it's the American workers fault that a company doesn't provide insurance for them. So from the time you earned your first pay check till you retired there wasn't a dem.pres. and you paid your own insurance, right?

Glad you survived your cancer, man. Which is it we're only patriots when it fits the mood.if you own a business you should be able to provide insurance and the gov.shouldn't need to get involved.

You cannot dictate to a business owner. To make a new business provide full insurance could be absurdly unprofitable and not worth the risk. As I stated wallmart started the process of letting go many full time employees. Don't get me wrong, I believe the system is currently broken and affordable insurance needs addressed, just not dictated. I think we can both agree on that.

Yes track, I worked in the Construction Trade When I got out of High School back in The 60's. I Worked As A Boilermaker in The Mid-.Late 70's. I Went To Work At PPG in The Last Of The 70's I .Worked There For 27 Years. I Had Cancer Surgery In The Early 90's. I, As Mr. Stocking, Am A Cancer Survivor of 15 Years. Everywhere I Worked Provided Health Insurance. The Boilermaker's Took A $1.50 per hour Worked As Health And Welfare. Then Gave It To You In The Early Days Of Dec. You Had To Work So Many Hours To Obtain Your Health Insurance. I Was Working At WILLOW ISLAND POWER PLANT When The Number Two Cooling Tower Fell In, Killing 51 People. That Bothered Me More Than Loading Body Bags On Choppers in Viet Nam. So Being A Veteran, An AMERICAN, Who Believes In Good Old Fashion Work Ethics, CRINGE When I Hear The Welfare Numbers, The Food Stamp Numbers. The American Dream Has Slowly Vanished And I'm ASHAMED Of Way AMERICA HAS CHANGED!! Yes, I've Worked When Democrats Were In The White House, I've Worked When Republican's Have Been In The White House And Now I've Worked When A SOCIALIST HAS BEEN IN THE WHITE HOUSE!!

How should affordable insurance be addressed? Ask the comps.for ideas? Unprofitable and not worth the risk for American workers to have insurance? Guess you agree with shpping jobs overseas, more profit and worth the risk? More proof this counrty is about greed and sold out to the dollar.

Thought the comp.provided insursance for ya. Sounds like you was a probation before you could receive insurance, standard practice at most comps. So Obama is a socialist and yet almost everything you complain about existed before obama. The American dream is vanishing because of greed on both ends. Welfare on both ends not just the bottom rung. When did America change, brush? 2008?

Nope but i do there are people that'll work the hell out of ya for nothing if they can't getaway with it. I know what insurance is? I know that American workers taking of business for a company deserves the same.

As you told brush....if they don't like not having insurance change jobs! YOU said it. If a company wants to keep quality employees, they will do what they must to keep them happy. The government has no business getting in the middle of something they know nothing about........operating in the black. If they want businesses to run in the red...well they are very experienced in that area.

Good grief right wingers IF you try to run another bush you are doomed for sure. Don't be all upset talking about how the poor, welfare, uneducated, blah blah blah blah people voted Ms. Clinton into office. I'm telling you now, you run bush and its over the day it gets announced.

I do however agree with the government staying out of private business. Nevertheless, they came to the Hill with their hands out not the other way around. How quick right wingers seem to forget that...

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=UMJ2BU0CDT0

...which brings me to something else. Why is it right wingers can gripe that obamas kids are guarded by men with 'guns' for 'security reasons' but agree with corporate 'brass' that their 'security reasons' far out rank even the President's (and family) ALL while having their hands out saying gimmie, gimmie, gimmie?

If you don't want a stranger in your house, then don't invite the stranger in.... just saying.

They should have not bailed them out but the Democrats sure bought a lot of union votes didn't they? How many (democrat supporters) companies and states were exempted from the affordable care act?
As for Obama's kids being guarded...I think the hypocrisy of wanting to take the citizen's right to bear arms (protect their own) yet wanting them around your own family was at the root of that debate. Nice try though.

Nice try yourself, but as usual with right wingers your agendas outweigh the cold hard truth. We all know they should never had been bailed out, repub's and dem's alike. What few seem to understand is that 'big business' had no right to go running to the government asking for bailout to EVEN START with. The government isn't a bank. The government is suppose to be 'We the people' not a place for loans. Sure, Obama and bush both are to blame for being just dumb enough to hand it over to those clowns who got paid bonuses for running their companies in the ground. Heck for 8 million a year for the rest of my life, I myself could run a company so far in the ground, they would have to look up just to see down.

AND stick to the subject don't come in once in a while acting all "BILLY the bull" on us throwing your weight around. Bring something useful to the table

Track, about insurance I don't think your to far off base but I don't think your trying to understand. Many many small business's "start up" business's cant afford to offer insurance right off the starting line. Some of them need time to build enough equity for a insurance program. Ive been hired before KNOWING we may not have insurance for a few years. Some of that was based on MY work ethics because I was a player in the success of that company.

Most big Corporations these days do take care of their employees. I don't like this statement any better than you but manufacturing will always follow cheap labor. Some manufacturing is coming back home for several reasons IE shipping cost..Asia westernizing ect...

I don't have the insurance problem figured out, we know its a problem. As I stated for big Gov..STAY OUT OF MY CRACK I don't need Uncle Sam running my life and THATS what this country was partially founded on. Private sector
