We never got that boar in a spot for the hunter to get him killed. The race took off around the mountain and the dogs treed. We were so excited, hurried into the tree and we had a bear that was the right color but was smaller than what we had seen crossing the road. Dog switched bears! We let this boar go. He needs some growing yet.

Getting ready to go out to bear camp again so I better finish up the hunts from last time!
This runnig bear made a bad mistake and ran into a piece of ground that goes way out in one of the lakes. It tried to come back out but the pack was there to stop it. It didn"t want to tree but they didn't give it much choise.

This giant black boar took the pack through a lot of water before heading for the high country. We got in front of the race and got it shot. Clifford was running hard right up its butt. He did an excellent job.

This bear was exciting! Clifford and Danny cold trailed this bear to the thick brush and went bayed. The boar decided that he didn't want to run I guess. We snuck in and shot it bayed in that thick stuff.

We are back from the fall hunt. Caught a few bears, had a great time too. The first bear we ran ran like the wind but gave in and treed.

The second bear we caught is the biggest to date that we have caught. 7ft bear with a 20" skull. Dogs did an awesome job treeing this big boy.

I WAS gonna say that big bear is Beautiful...but I saw that big ugly head and changed my mind! LOL.... GORGEOUS pix but that head is as big as ME! SCARY...but kinda beautiful in a way... Shudder! Your pix as always are awesome! Dawgs as fantastic as always as well.........
