Just seen an old ad on B&D's Blue Spike in the 2007 BBOA Bluebook. Your Poncho dog and Spike look almost like mirror images of each other standing on the tree with their right side showing. Both very nice looking hounds for sure.

I travel to hunts to about 8-10 states. This is one of the Nicest Loudest Blue dogs anywhere. He is out of a Coon Treeing female too, which is very important to me when breeding.

Hunt

Went hunting with Shaun Higgins and Jerry shoemaker last night. Treed 5 trees with coons. Maude did a nice job slipping ahead of the other dogs and tree a coon

Cut Maude by herself , struck at 300 yds treed at 475 with a coon. Cut poncho ,struck at 500yds treed at 750 with a coon. It was still 84 degrees when I got home.

Johnny sure going to have a good litter of pups or Ruby and Poncho. going to have to sit down and begin my list of who all is getting one as I really have not kept track as that can be bad luck about getting a litter. I know of 6 gone forsure already. price is $300

Blue dogs

I drew out with a lot of bluetick dogs the last year while finishing my brand X to grnt. As my son hunts a good blue female so I always pay attention to their ability.
Poncho showed good ability with looks and an awesome mouth, he was as good as any I hunted with, and better than most. His owner seems like a square shooter also, Jim.
