prayers are being answered.the lord has given my son strength enough to survive the last 2 nights.he has also renewed my spirit.we are gonna win this fight!

How old is your son???? Does he have siblings and other family who are also hurting? We will be praying for ALL involved and for the SPECIAL Drs and nurses who devote their careers and lives to the children. Takes such strength!!!
Continue to feel Gods comfort and let him carry you...we are all keeping you lifted in our thoughts and prayers to lessen the weight of your load.....

PS... YES, we should let our loved ones and friends know how much we care as often as we can. We must also be forgiving of ourselves and our own failures and rememeber that God loves all people who have a GOOD core.... and he also works to help those less fortunate souls who are not so good.... It is easy to get sucked into the mindset that God does not care for us if we have any sort of failings...and that simpy cannot be true.... Good is good...Evil is evil.. there is a great distance between the two. You sometimes sound like you get a bit frustrated with your self when you mess up(Hmmm...remind me of Bob and myself actually)
I guess what I'm trying to say is that I get the feeling sometimes you have a harder time letting yourself be loved and now IS the best time to keep letting the caring thoughts prayers and love of others hold YOU as well as your son...
OK, Off my soap box now but I hope you realize lots of us TRULY care!

my son is 28 years old.we are around each other every day and have been that way since his feet hit the ground.yes he has a sister.she is being a tremendous help.yes i am not supposed to mess up and i can really judge myself harshly.we are our own worst critics.i have been pretty much on my own since i was 11 years old.a hard life can make for a hard heart.i feel like i failed my son cause i could not protect him from this.
my focus right now is to get him conscious and start his rehab as soon as possible.i am doing as much research as i can.

they do have him stabilized at this time. he is not getting any worse.

Good news Mike that he is stabilized. AMAZING things happen in medicine...Lets all pray he does WAY better than expected.
Mike, Not surprised at your description of yourself.... I am my own worst enemy and was humbled lots with my mild brain injury. I have had to learn to forgive myself.... and accept who I am now... Hard life can make a hard heart for sure BUT ALSO A STRONG one...You love Hard. Your son knows it.....

i know this is upseting to some folks.im going to post one last update cause we sure appreciate all your support and prayers.i know some folks want to know.
we met with the neuorologist this evening.my sons brain is still swelling.they have done every thing they can possibly do.they are going to let nature run its course.i was told he had a better chance of surviving 2 days ago.he keeps slipping little by little.she has been causing him some pain to see if he moves and he is unresponsive.
