Bluetick Reunion tune up night

Took Riptide tonight by himself made 3 dumps and treeed 3 coons. Oh and by the way he made easy work on all three.

Max Corey did not take home First at the RQE but he came close. Corey got second place overall at the RQE with a score of 450 plus points and no minus and no circle with RipTide. There was (56) hounds that hunted. Hunted against one Grand and two Nite CH.. He hunted with a Mr. Vaughn of the MAD DOG kennels and he had a nice Bitch. I think one was from Mississippi and on the other was from Kentucky. Mark Vandermeter from up your way took First place with a score of 600 plus point, hunted Dizzy. One down and four to go Max!

We went but did not get it tonight! He had a tough night! Tried to get in a few of our good places but way too much water in them and from there it was down hill! Did do a nice Job on one coon. Can't win them all I guess! LOL!

Max no luck again tonight. Started out good with a split tree and had a coon but after that three dogs including RipTide got scratched for treeing off game - a Bobcat! I guess that is why some call them Big Game Hounds! LOL!

In two night we have treed two trees with kitten coons, seems to be pretty early to see kitten coons but we know there is more to run this summer in some pretty good woods already!

Corey is going to hunt RipTide at the Zone this year and try to make his mark!

Mark. Yeah if he qualified him he might as well go on with it and see what happens. He is a nice hound! I forgot to tell you guys before you bought him he would tree a bobcat!! Lol What's the odds!

Had a pretty decent hunt tonight with the pups. My pup made a tree it was a den then we moved and he made another tree with a coon on the outside. Zone pup got by hisself had another big sycamore den then they made a tree together and it was a den. All in all good hunt but tracking wasnt the best for them.

Why dont you and your dad come down so we can show you some of our pets. Your dogs would really like them. They could get to know them by there first names. Call me when you get a chance. The sooner we get one down here the closer we get to making another nite champion for old tango.

Max just let us know for sure. Becasue if you guys cant we can come up there and go hunting. Dad wanted me to tell you we reserved our rooms for sept 13-14 at flora for the zones. We got a pet room since dad has riptide house broke too. Cant wait to get that pup down here and get him tearing the hunts up. Old Tango throws some really nice young dogs. People dont know what there missing out on when it comes to pups out of Tango. He's reproducing for me really well.
