Mine is a comp style dog, more drive and go than I have, see where she goes from here, just aim and fire, she has her mothers identical mouth.

I've been working a ton still in the clock since 4am, everytime I take mine couldn't be happier with them considering the crazy hours at work, that's awesome ya'll pups are doing great I love hearing the updates! Hopefully sometime we can get them buddy pups in the woods together!

That's awesome! She sounds like the real deal great to hear people are coming to see her! Unfortanly there was a mix up at work an its awful to say but I'm gonna have to miss oaks this year, the oilfield is hell on a man

Good thing we took Mama with her, it was a night for an Uchtman Zeb female, her and the Buddy pup got separated and stayed separate. I am happy you are working. Could be worse.

Could be a lot worse they are working with me because of the switch up may have days off coming soon if so I'd really love to see that pup go, awesome to hear she handles the pressure well!

pups 11 mo. now

Josh,
What fun, her and Hemi caught one on the ground and destroyed it, like they were shot out of a cannon, they were both layed up 3 weeks due to heat cycle, action packed hunt. Both pups I have hunted with have fab bawl mouths, what a journey this fall. Stay tuned. The pup opens just right, nice turn over chop mouth on tree, no jacking.

One year birthday

Sassy my pup is really dark, she got all first strikes last night and another first tree ahead of Momma, she may be singled out real soon. She has all the bells and whistles I have been looking for....
Nitro is not nearly as far along as my female, just coming along slower paced. No junk yet for my pup, but the shocker goes on tonight, not taking any chances, pre rut soon, want to keep her clean, and tone her to come in. We have a paved highway every mile.

Sassy 12 mo.

Thought I would tantalize you Josh with a long range pic. She has a deeper bawl on track, Derek's has a Loud screaming bawl , both are chop mouth tree dogs. Mouths your way? She is big and racy in person.
The one in Cloverdale I saw is built like this and your male, Uchtman Zeb and Albert have some size they are bigger than the sire and dam of these pups! Not sloppy looking for their size, either.
I could of sold 3 more Buddy/ Hemi pups to Texas and the Carolina's this week, alone. I did not breed Hemi this year because I like and need to hunt Sassy, but so far so good, keep our fingers crossed.

Man she sure is pretty! I'm glad to hear they are doing do so well and I hope you hear from about the other pups soon, mine both have a. Bawl mouth on track the females is more of a screaming bawl but both are chop tree dogs. I haven't pushed em much but they are impressing me this fur season will be great for em

Woke up to this on my phone, Nitro on the wood looks like he got no help from the other dog. Treedog!!! Derek's going to hunt his dog while some of us are sleeping, way to much.

Action packed

Sassy got another one on the ground, problem was, big boar, good thing she had her Momma to back her up! Then made them stay split tree for twenty five minutes, so far so good, might be kill season, but my chance to test them. Tonight heading to my best spot,but coon hunting will humble you real fast! One night at a time.

Alone time/Sassy

Started hunting Sassy alone last night, looked pretty balanced, action packed, no slicks, got my fingers crossed.
Feeding her the last coon every night. Been hoping for a real accurate one!

Working on having a handler commitment for one major hunt,> "Sassy" which hunt? You going to any major hunts?, you need to work less, and play more Josh.
Since I am a retired farmer, I will be using govt. money for my vices. Ha!
Tired farmer sounds more like it.
Think she is coming in heat now, good timing, next heat July.
Best part 16 degrees tonight, I can walk on top of the mud and snow.

Had an interview today for an afternoon position so I'll be able to work a normal schedule an hunt every night. I'd really like to get to see sassy go. I couldn't be happier with this cross!

Some of us never learn

Wore my shoes last night, broke through ice in the woods, hunted with a numb foot. My son needed my truck, hunted without one, ended up calling the Walker man Chuck Schmersal to take me home.
Coon were moving in the snow crust, could not get one in the open. At least I tried....

Snowing last nite

Back up for Buddy.
7 inches in my woods with 4 foot drifts, Sassy, 15 mo. finally tracked a pair of coon down, way more track dog than we usually have in these parts, exhaustion is the word for me.
She made it sound good in the timber, she is still a wide open track dog, with a deep bawl mouth.
