Thanks Bradley..

Seth and Tim did good on that cross! So far he has been a natural with only two caged coons seen. I hope he keeps going! They look a whole lot alike. Woody has a calico ear too. Woody also has a little more red on him. The build is pretty close. He was a big pup and has just gotten bigger and stockier. He's a big muscle!

It is easy for me to forget he is only 7 months old sometimes!! There is no doubt I will be breeding my females to him down the road! Seth and Tim did good on this cross. Im sure the others are probably turning the crank too? I have had some decent dogs over the years but he is definitely performing higher at this age than any other pup Ive ever put in the woods.

i raised and trained the savage sam dog he made nite ch in 3 hunts he could flat a-- move a track and was a hard stay put tree dog he was a reproducer too sure would like to find a pup with him up close

Im not sure what all he was bred to or what there is out there? Im not sure if there would be anything closer or not. I have had good luck with mine. Ive had this line for 20+ years. Fast track dogs and good hunters. Copper Junior is my oldest that goes back to Sam. I plan to breed my Copper Jr females back on Woody at some point. Im getting very encouraging reports on my Copper Jr x Reba cross. Those pups are just now 4 months old and the ones fooled with are having to be carried or pulled from caged coons and drags.

David - Woody is a big baby! He loves some lovin'! He has the best mouth I have ever had on a hound. I havent pushed a dog in the hunts in several years but I plan to have two ready by this fall! They will be a year old around September. Best two pups Ive ever fooled with. Good Luck with Boomer!!
