What a foolish statement.I don't guess you read my post in a comprehensive and conceptual manner. I WAS SAYING WE SHOULDN'T SHRUG OFF HIS ACCUSATIONS. I don't know how you came away with the idea that I was a progressive. Far from it actually. I am just sitting here dumbfounded that you actually made this political. I simply stated that for someone to do something like that is extreme, and it needs to be investigated. His accusations shouldn't be ignored because he is crazy. Just because I agreed with Truly doesn't mean I am progressive. What a narrow minded view.
Oh by the way..... My original question was if people had read his manifesto? That is what lead me to my comment.

i have to agree with truly, on this one. according to homeland security the alleged murder can be labeled a terrorist and hunted with cia drones.
According to Janet Napolitano and her boss, the REAL danger emanates from the:
“Extreme right-wing: groups that believe that one’s personal and/or national ‘way of life’ is under attack and is either lost or that the threat is imminent (for some the threat is from a specific ethnic, racial or religious group), and believe in the need to be prepared for an attack either by participating in paramilitary preparations and training or survivalism. Groups may also be fiercely nationalistic (as opposed to universal and international in orientation), anti-global, suspicious of centralized federal authority, reverent of individual liberty and believe in conspiracy theories that involve grave threat to national sovereignty and/or personal liberty.”
truly, i believe that i have seen a couple of your post, that seem to be suspicious of the federal govt.,so they could come after you too. unless you got a "get out of jail free" card from pres. obama last week at the anti-gun rally.

The use of drones to "search" worrys me ALOT.......although he basicly admitted guilt in his online rant(or at least someone did)......were still a country where you are innocent untill proven guilty. IN COURT. The drone thing.........well its not a far jump to just say "did it" and pass judgement. it makes the exutive branch judge, jury, and exicutioner........and that is NEVER good. there are 3 branches for a reason.

You guys seriously think that the state sheriffs dept, state coroners office, first responders and all of the parents and friends of the 26 victims at Sandy Hook all conspired together to lie about the exact weapon used so that they could help support anti gun legislation? Despite [as oklared has posted] some of the parents of the deceased children are strongly pro gun/pro 2nd amendment? And considering just how crooked all of these folks in Newtown are, all of the different law enforcement agencies, all of the medical examiners.... but you have absolute faith in the LAPD? That the LAPD would NEVER EVER try to cover up accusations of brutality?

Try putting your thinking cap on for just a moment... Think a little about MOTIVE. Anyone who was accused of police brutality would attempt to deny or at least down play it. The motive is so obvious.
But despite the obviousness of that motive, it can not be denied that Dorner would also have motive to lie/exaggerate about brutality.
I think there is very little question that he is guilty of killing three people.
I think no one questions that those killings are wrong and illegal.
But if you remember where this thread started- does that make him crazy? If you are witness to a grievous wrong and you do nothing about it then are you any less crazy than the person who over reacts?
I think in todays society we throw the label "crazy" around as a one size fits all explanation when the real answer is much more complex.........

Not going to try and defend this guy for what he has done, but the huge scope of the manhunt looks a little fishy, making me think maybe this guy had some dirt on someone real powerful.
Its not always cut and dry in the world we live in, and not always a good idea to assume that the guys in blue are the good guys.
Relying on and judgeing a situation based on what the press tells us isnt always a good idea either, they always seem to have an agenda of their own.
