well...;)

I can honestly say that I have only had trouble hearing him one night and that was in NC, however he was about 1/2 mile and a freight train was passing between me and him.....lol.
I have hunted in 10 or 12 states at all different levels of competition and have even drawn sitting world champions I promise that i dont know of one that can drown him out track or tree. He has a big booming voice that is clean and clear. Don't worry bud if they are talkin about you that means you got something they are jealous of or scared of.

All I can say is get a piece of the rock. I had a chance to keep rock for 1 week and in that 1 week me and Rock went hunting every night and boy did we see coons. On 1 particular night I took my uncle so he could see how this dog worked in the woods rock treed so hard that night my uncle said boy you better go get that dog before he have a heat stroke. People listen when I tell you this Rock is a wonderful dog I have 5 pups off of rock right now 1 of them Just Won first place in Mississippi Winter Classic the next weekend I switched rock pups and won first place two weekends in a row. I am not bragging but telling the truth and if any of you guys want to go to the woods let's do it.

Hey Jake,
Don't let people get to ya. Sounds like a good ole case of jealousy to me. I have had the privilege of watching Rock go on his home turf, and on the road. I didn't really see a difference either way b/c he was they same either way; deep, quick, alone, and with the meat every drop. And I sure want to hunt with the dog that "drowns him out". That'd only happen if he was a half a mile deeper and the "home turf" dog in the ditch. What's even more impressive is to hear of the young dogs that are showing the same positive traits that every breeder should be looking for. I'm not a walker man by any means, but he could stay in my kennel anytime. Anyways, don't let them get ya down. Nothing else you can tell them except put up or shut up and that seems to already be accomplished. His accomplishments speak for themselves and they weren't won on a computer or telephone.

Take Care,

Ryan

Thanks Ryan.
I went last night and took Rock by himself and he droped in there 583 yards after working a track for about 20 minutes and come treed with the meat.

Tracey just let me know when you get her to Scotty he's a real good guy.

I have never owned a dog out of Rock but did hunt with one in a ukc hunt couple months back and I was impressed was a hard hunting, big mouth, and liked to get parked under then ringtails. If I had a female in heat I wouldn't think twice about breeding her to Rock. Keep it up Jake, Rock. Thank you.

CAN YOU SMELL WHAT THE ROCK IS COOKING??? LoL

I like my female out of Rock. In the last two weeks she has won a first placed second and I withdrew her because of bad wether and heavy rain.

Congrats to Previn and rage on their first place night champion win at the georgia state. Looks like he's following his dads foot steps. Rock has won the Georgia state twice.

HBO kennels did you get your female over to dean in time to get her bred?

Posted by DownHomeKennels on 03-04-2013 02:48 PM:

Rage

Previn, you gonna have to build another house just for all the hardware that Bo & Rage have won & the ones they are gonna win. I think its time for a Previn Blalock post so that you, Bo, & Rage can really get you shine on. Congrats Previn. Mr Jake, do you remember what time of day you bred Rage & Bo's mom? Do you remember what you were feeding Rock during this that period of time? Or maybe what you were eating? Anyhow, whatever you did to get those kinda results you should do exactly that again. Lol. Oh wait, I know what happened. You got a reproducing coon dog. Keep making those special crosses, the breed is depending on you.

Hey Jake I'm just putting this out my female is looking big. I should have pups on the ground April 4th. If you get up early for leopard days give me a call we'll head out for a few drops. If not I'll see you there. Thanks again for giving me the chance to breed Suzy to rock. My little girl can't wait for those pups outa her 2 favorite coon hounds. If anyone is interested she's a daughter to mojo on top and a granddaughter to rock river cord on botom. Nailor and Sackett bloodlines at their best. Her accomplishments are posted earlier on this post. You can look her up as am mojos sweet suzy she's been in the past issues of bloodlines and in the mojo add a few times.
