mr.glenn i use to have some cd's of old radio shows but i think them kids of mine must have ate em cause i cant find them nowhere. i listen to the grand ole opry every friday and saturday night and have as long as i can remember.the opry use to have two guys called jamup and honey that was alot like amos and andy, maybe sometime you can check them out,i think you would like them. lyle you was talking about family tales,i looked up my family tree and one of my great great uncles killed a bear with a knife it said lol. i highly doubt its true, its sorta like them dead coon dogs the story gets better as the years roll on lol.i played ball in sc one time and i did notice they talked a little different them me lol. what does geetchie mean? is that french?

Got something for you to ponder, if you was wanting to breed a perfect dog to hunt, what would make you happy ? Reading past posts I know packing is good, don't like B-liners or Sackett Jr's Bottom side ... a side anyway, what about Rat Attack ? Figure your area and the area I enjoy hunting might be alike, except for the gators down there and hardwood and cottonmouths up here.

Like you said, I must ponder that! It is like you asked me my whole life history in one question. I already guess I willl not share much insight on it , One man's junk is another man's Glory!

Thanks Mr.Glenn. I got the adapter and been trying to download. I have not found the vid of the race I was talking about but this is the dog split treeing after the race.
To bad this vid would show him taking minus for "leaving the tree, putting his head down and going back on track". I had one minussed for doing exactly the same thing one time, LOL I never said he was a comp dog.

That thing looks like a high tan. I've seen pure blooded redbones that color. What is that thing out of? I don't see how you can't like that I might get minuses for it but Id pitch a hissy fit lol. That's a easy fix though.

Must be that dang 1/4 Walker. He only splits about 1/4 of the time. You might not like him. If I bring him to you I might have to turn around and go get him. You better come get him, that way you might like him better when you get to thinking about bringing him back. LOL

Watched it when you first posted it, and it worked. The welcome back Kotter thing is the link John put up, not the video that l.lyle posted . Did hear a voice sounding real familar, after seeing the 1/4 walker, might explain it.

Glad it works. Went coon hunting and a nine point buck got me about two miles from where is was going to hunt. Broke the grill and 2 headlights. I dragged him in the grass and went on hunting. Finally struck trailed and treed in a hollow, same thing again. Another young dog stayed with another cold track and did'nt honor my old dog. He trailled and treed in a piney pulpwood thicket in a squirel? nest. It was huge. About then I heard an even younger dog cold trailing. That is the first time I heard him do that by himself giving out such long balls night have been a ghost. He is not treeing yet anyway so I shot the nest out of curiosity and a coon fell out. I should have known it was not worth hunting when that deer hit me. I like to fainted loading that deer on top of the dogbox by myself. I ain't got a tailgate to perch on. Hated to think I might be messing the dogs up thinking I was wanting deer> but I saw it hit and figured the neck and the right shoulder I figured was hurt and I could use the meat. Just finnished dressing it and both shoulders, loins and one hind guarter fine. The other hind is questioable since he ruptured near the groin when he got hit. All the lower part was bloodshot. That was a task.
Gator is good eating but it might be more of a task cleaning them than deer for what you get out of it.

I wonder how much? Unless Santa brings some it might be duck tape. Tried butchering flat on the groung since I figure some was bloodshot< worked pretty good but my back is hurting. Sitting here trying out some fried butterflyed loins. Dont see how they could be much better hanging for 3 or 4 days but will find out.

Posted by skeets on 12-24-2012 09:33 AM:

butchering them on the ground will wear a man out,i cut one up this week in back of a truck, nearly passed out from the lack of air lol. that bloodshot meat would be good for the dogs, people say that will make a dog run deer, but ive never found that to be true.
