Junior, both videos worked well when I posted them. Photobucket apparently and without my permission has me on a "beta" program that obviously doesn't work. Beta means experimental. Tomorrow, I will repost these videos on YouTube.

I wonder how many folks have clicked on these videos and they haven't worked. It sure makes for an unhappy camper.

Terry, Roofus is the same kind of dog that you love to hunt.

Terry and Junior, I have a buddy that has a daughter of Roofus that he says is better than Roofus (they don't get much better). He says " when you turn her loose, you get her off of a tree and when she trees, you can go to town and get a cup of coffee, she will be there when you get back". I would say a chip off of the same block.

Terry, I would bet you could Grand her in 10 or less hunts. I would bet she could drown out most dogs on the tree. I can't get him to price her. Terry, she is here in Illinois if you want to take Little T and check her out.

Terry, I have got some videos in the pipe line. I try to do 1 or 2 a day. But, some are of my Mt Curs and beagles as well as my English, so watch the Cur and beagle boards also.

I put the Cur and beagle videos on the Cur and beagle boards. I try to keep this part of the board for English. Most of these videos will be of my English but I have lots of videos of other top English and I will post some of them.

Frances Gail and I are sorry to hear about the death of Grand Champion Nite Champion Maddy Gee's Roofus owned by Junior Cartright. I am sure he will be missed.

Both dogs in the video made Nite Champions, my friend John Hays of Iuka, Illinois finished Bam Bam III and my friend Tom Edwards of Campus, Illinois put some wins on Pepper that finished her. Bam Bam II was just a good coon dog that could win a cast because he was a pretty good dog. Pepper was special and I belive she could have won some bigger hunts if she would have had a chance. I never was much of a competition hunter. Pepper really did well on the cold, frozen weather in January. She could tree coon other good coon dogs didn't know was around.

As for Pepper and Bam Bam III, Pepper was out of Nite Champion Timberstar Buddy and a Lightfoot bred female and Bam Bam III was out of Bam Bam II and is a half brother to my current Grand Champion Nite Champion Ranson's Bam. Ranson's Bam has a much louder mouth than Bam Bam III, even louder than old Pepper. I have had a bunch of great dogs out of Bam Bam II.

There could possibly be some pups with a lot of these dogs in the videos in their pedigree. I am not ready to announce anything yet but I have all of the confidence in the world in these dogs being able to reproduce.

Notice the extra loud mouth Lou has. In the first segment, she was hunted with Grand Champion Nite Champion Maddy Gee's Roofus, who had an extra loud mouth also. Ranson's Bam is a half brother to Roofus' mother. They carry the same genes that produce the big mouth

The video was taken over 10 years ago in the winter with obvious crusted snow. The chase ended up in a den tree like they often do in the winter.

Both hounds were top of the line dogs with Pepper being a half sister to Little Bam's mother.
