Lucy is having pups as of noon she had 7 what I saw there is at least 2m and 3f what i checked. The females look like they have a little chrome. I will check again tonight.

Pups

There is 8 pups so far. If I checked right looked like 4 & 4 but not positive. They was crawling all over it was tuff keeping track which one I had checked. I don't know if she is done Though. Guess I will see if there is more in the morning. Lucy seems to be doing just fine she came out and barked while I was feeding the other dogs. Those pups sure make a lot of noise.

I'm sure surprised she only had 8, she was as big as a blimp. Glad to hear Lucy is doing good. Bet she will make a great mom. I have had her and those pups on my mind all night. Thanks for giving me the opportunity to hunt her Omer.

Cut Peanut lose a couple times to night, just got in from hunting. She made a real nice track and treed in a huge Oak along a creek. We shined but didn't see anything. Million places for that coon to hind, I would say it was there.
Second drop was about the same, she worked that track good and treed in the biggest mess of Hedge I've ever seen. Holes in it big enough for me to hide from my wife in. It's a known den around here. Over all Peanut had a solid night, coon haven't been moving at all, it was nice to finally get some action. Gonna give it a try again tomorrow. Should be warmer.

Shawn if you get the chance could you post a picture of Lil Luke. One with him just standing there and not on the tree. He is a good looking houndy hound for sure. Sounds like Omer has a real nice female picked out for you, future World Grand Show Champion!!! LOL!!!

She had 9 this morning one dead though male.

ok she had 9 but 8 lived so far so here is what i am going to do tonyb and sidneyjames are both winners congrats guys. you can breed to luke as long as i have him and he is able to be breed too.

ok i jumped the gun a little went back to the first page and looked and here is the numbers i had then:
keep-em-treed 9 pups 4m-5f
berger 5 pups 3f-2m
slowpoke wife 10 pups 8f-2m
sidneyjames 9 PUPS 5 FEMALES 4 MALES
slowpoke 8 with 5 females and 3 males
tonylb 8 with 4 and 4

so it is going to come down to how many males and females we have oh the hell with it you all won except for matt's wife and berger who quessed 10 and 5 the 8's and 9's have it.

Thought I'd brag on her. Made two drops tonight. First one was a den, rotted all the way out with a big ol hole in it covered in coon crap. Walked her off a little ways and cut her loose again. She didn't go 100 feet and treed. There was 4 big coon in it, shot one out to her and she got right to work finishing it.
Took that coon and made a 100 yard long drag, sent Slow Poke on his way. He did a nice job, nose on the ground then paws up on the tree. He didn't open, but he's trying to put the puzzle together.

Peanut is working out nice. No slicks. Just coons or dens.

Head the size of a basketball, it only has 37inch ears though.

Omer, I can deal with only 37 inch ears. It will be tuff, but I will find some way to make it work.LOL. Think I'm going to name him: Missouri Lil Black Tree Jar'N Stroker Ace and call him "Stroker".

Shawn, you need need a monkey faced hound, with Lil Luke in the pin people might think you have show dogs.
