HUNTING TRIP 1/11/2013

CARL, THIS IS GAIL, I'VE BEEN SO BUSY I HAVEN'T HAD TIME TO POST PICS, HAVE RUN FOR THE LAST 10 DAYS, ONE PLACE OR ANOTHER.......THEN GOT SICK, ALONG WITH THE KIDS AND WENT TO DOCTOR YESTERDAY, SO HERE I AM THIS MORNING TRYING TO GET A FEW PICS ON HERE, LOST THE CAMERA NOW............HAVE TO FIND IT BEFORE YOU'LL GET ANY MORE PICS OF MONKEY AND BART!!

BART AND MONKEY HAD A GOOD HUNT ON 1/11/2013, HERE ARE A FEW PICS OF THE HUNT, WE TRAVELED ALOT OF MILES THIS NIGHT, BUT WE TREED AND THEY HAD THE MEAT!!









THIS LAST ONE, MONKEY THINKS SHE IS PART MONKEY, SHE SEEMS TO HAVE A KNACK FOR CLIMBING TREES!! HA! HA!

We'll go when it warms up and I'm gonna get my truck fixed, can't depend on the Ford either, left me stranded in Beattyville tonight, out in the cold for over 2 hours and quit on me at Save-A-Lot again, finally made it home about 6:30, after 2 hours out in the cold and it 14 degrees, Cody was with me and he had on shorts and flip flops, his friend Austin was with us also, he had on sweat pants and a sleeveless shirt and no jacket, they just about froze to death before they got a ride home. Bet they don't get out with me anymore without any clothes on............

Took Bart hunting last night, treed one, took the kids with me, Cody and his friend Austin, they run one in the ground, made the boys go to him and bring him back for a second turnout, made a tree and didn't take any pics at the tree, but here's one of the coon, it was a big old boar.

You need to get you some glasses, cause I don't see no sack, that's it's tail betweeen it's legs.............I turn the next one over and take a pic of it's belly for you, so you can see that salmon can, ha ha!!

Salmon Canned coons

Yeah boys it takes a good eye and a sharp sence of sound to be able to tell how big they are really if you listen really close when your dog barks.. Now keep in mind your dog has to be really loud like mine or Clydes but if they are that loud .. When that dog barks you can hear them ring a jing jing the deeper the tone the bigger .. Kinda of like a door bell your not going to go to walmart and get a loud manly door bell youll have to go to lowes and get one with those huge long tubes then they make a great big sound if you know what i mean if not ... well sorry and disreguard what i said lol lol lol lol lol...

That's a nice video! What a BIG mistake I made when I gave up on (X) Bart a little to soon. I had heard that High X pups started later than other studs,so I should have payed attention! If you decide to sell him please let me know. THANKS!

THANKS FOR THE KIND COMMENTS, I'VE HAD SOME PRETTY GOOD OFFERS FOR HIM, BUT I'M KIND OF ATTACHED TO HIM AND HE HUNTS GOOD WITH MY YOUNG DOGS, DOESN'T SEEM TO HAVE ANY BAD HABITS..........I JUST LOVE HIM!! Well, the weather here is awlful and it's keeping me from hunting, it's rain, mud, snow, ice, take your choice, I'm ready for spring, I'd like to go out and not freeze to death, take a bath or wade the mud..........maybe next week will be better, hopefully a little warmer..........Looking forward to hunting Bart and finishing him out............will post new pics or video when I get to go again.......

Thanks, Carl!! I've been so busy, I've not had time to get on here, the bark season is just about over, so maybe I can get caught up on here, I still have pups for sale out of Skipper and one out of Insane X. I've not been hunting much, just the hunt at the club and I plan on going tonight for a while, get a little wood time in before the hunt this weekend.
