I'm not making excuses. I'm being honest saying my dogs are worthless. I wonder why I feed them. Maybe I'll stop. Maybe it'll put more hunt in them if they havta fend for themselves. Maybe that's the secret.

glad im not the only one seeing a decrease in hides. got my female slick treeing like a fool the last few nights which is unlike her, but me young male is putting coon up the tree, who knows

Coon are moving later it seems. I'm not much for getting um out early, so I'm just settin um up for failure maybe? Still treeing coon, but way more foolishness going that what was before season opened. Of course I feel like I am too critical and picky compared to some at times.

Goofy stuff with this full moon. I've been going early and lots of Halloween Hijinx going on. Slick treed 2 nights in a row, last night ran one into a large log pile decked where it holed up, then tonight saw one myself in the tree that the dog never budged on. Don't know if it was layed up as it was early??? The joys of a 1 year old hound. I'm with ya Brandon, maybe I'm too nice to the dog....

Im with jay on the full moon, as I cant really say that I usually much of a rough time with the full moon the few nights I do get out durin it. Cant say that every night goes perfect but nock on wood its been decent! Did manage to get them prepy lil house dogs out for a few last night in the moon tho and it was dang fun! Was able to get duke to stand still for a pic when we got home but taz was not so cooperative! Hope to continuously improve this pair as the fall goes on into some fantastic hounds! (for wussy lil housedawgs that is) lol

Bad Spots? Was out 2 nights ago for almost 2 hrs. Dog went hunting out real good. Garmin said over 3/4 mile a few times. never got struck. You would think after that long he would have at least ran a deer for me (LOL) or something it was pretty boring and cold.................. Jon

been real good early here 7 till 9 until whore frost hits then track just seem to vanish dont mater though rather tree 4 or 5 rite away than listen to a bunch of boo hooing around.

lol i have my worst nites when there is a high pressure. and all you coon tree'ers come down to my stomping grounds and show me how its done on a full moon.. i've been getting a few den trees and a pile of ground dens and bull doze piles the last four nites.
