TO ALL THAT WANTS TO KNOW

I TRY HARD TO GET A JUDGE FOR EACH DAY THAT WILL BE FAIR AND IMPARTIAL TO ALL I TAKE THIS JOB SOLELY BY MY SELF SO NO OTHER OFFICER HAS ANY INFLUENCE IN GETTING THE JUDGE AND I WILL NEVER HAVE A DOG IN THIS SHOW I WILL ANNOUNCE THESE JUDGES AS SOON AS I FINALIZE THIS WE AS A ASSOCIATION TAKE PRIDE IN OUR SHOW A WORLD CLASS EVENT. AS A PURINA BOARD MEMBER I HAVE WORKED HARD WITH OTHER BOARD MEMBERS TO REFINE AND MAKE THESE SHOWS THE BEST. PURINA ALLOWS ONE PURINA SHOW PER JUDGE THIS RULE WAS ADOPTED TO MAKE THINGS FAIR AND EQUAL TO ALL.THE BOARD ALSO ENCOURAGES EACH STATE ASSOCIATION TO WORK HARD TO GET FAIR AND IMPARTIAL JUDGES.

a glimpse at some of the awards:

bench show breed winners (B&T, Blue, Leopard, etc)

bench show class winners (bmos, ch m, dual, etc)

overall/opp sex show & hunt winners

obviously, they will say the appropriate things.

I also have an idea for the high scoring Reg, Ch, NCh winners as well. Just have to raise some more money for it!!!

What a nice change in awards!! Very unique from the typical trophies were all used to seeing.

Thanks Connie. We are trying to make this THE event to come to!.

we will still be doing the prize bags as well for the class winners and the overall winners package.

the wooden picture plaques will still be used for the hunt winners.

if I raise about $90, I will be getting some special made leather leashes for the hi score reg, ch, ntch and overall dog of the hunt. the will have the event and place etched into them.

in order to raise money I will be selling homemade dog treats at SETWD.

thanks to all that bought tickets for our raffle and dog treats. the monies will be used to get prizes for the state hunt/show.

We have a total of 32 baskets made this year, that's more than last year. Everyone that has donated has been "given" a basket unless they requested something specific.

Dont forget our Thank You grill raffle on Saturday. For every ENTRY in both the shows and the hunts, you get a ticket.

That ticket will be put in the pot for the drawing. You do not have to be present to win, however getting the prize to you will be up to the winner. The drawing will be held before cast call out on Saturday. The prize includes a full sized gas grill, 2 embroidered camp chairs, grill tools. This is our way of saying THANK YOU to all participants for supporting the NCCHA over the years.

Without your support we wouldn't be where we are today and would not be able to stand and fight for your rights to hunt and own your dogs when bad legislation is put forth against us. Please continue to support NCCHA so that we may continue to fight this important battle for ourselves and our children and grandchildren.

See you on April 19-20 in Salisbury, NC

Dont forget the Benefit for Hunters Rights in Norwood NC on May 31 and the NC State Youth Event June 1
