He's interested in a pup. You should feel like your free advertisement has worked in your favor. Nobody is saying not to post your stud dog adds, just have a seperate page so a person looking for a pup or older dog doesn't have to go through page after page of listings and half more of those adds are dogs up for stud. Makes finding what you want faster. The veiws on the stud threads would still be high because people like to see pics of pups and what they are winning. Nobody is getting booted off the forum. It would be like getting your very own room.

Where do you get the names at? Where do you get the phone numbers at? Bet you dont mind looking at the adds then?? STUD OWNERS HAS ALL THERE INFO ON THERE PAGE, NAME, NUMBER, STATE.

I dont have a dog in this hunt, It just amazes me how some people complain an try to control others, When you may be doing the same thing if you was in there shoes!!! Have a great day hope you find what you are looking for then you can post it on its sire (aka stud) post...

Coonhandler.......I don't get your point. Nobody is trying to control anything. Simply put, it would make it easier to find what you are looking for. Every breed would have three pages. One for pups/upcoming litters, one for dogs for sale, and one for studs. Fewer threads on any one heading means fewer pages and less of the infamous "btt" covering page after page on a thread to keep it near the top of 16-20 pages of such diversified adds that are all located in one forum. Don't really see how you can argue that. "Simplicity sometimes scares people, change is sometimes frowned upon, but in the end you either adapt and push forward or you stay caught up in confusion and stop playing the game stating it is unfair. Life is not fair." A quote from my 9th grade Government and Economics teacher Mr. Miller.

Maybe I took what you said wrong......sorry if I did. I have made some friends and probably some that don't care much for me. I like looking at the stud dog adds as much as any of the others. I would love to see all of them on one page and one right after the other. When I look at pups I would like to be able to do the same thing. I think you may have the percentage a little high at 99%. I think it would be more like 98%.

Then post a fee for the ads...it can be helpful to UKC (money) and can be helpful to the board(get the worthless ads and studs off here)...pay to play or get out tha way...simple as tht

Im all for it.

R Wilson we don't make you pay to play on here why would we make stud owner. They don't make the vendors pay to post they have there own spot some run ADs in the BL some don't.

I just think it would be nice to find a pup or a dog for sale with out looking threw all the studs. I was looking for a pup sometime back and seen post (pups something) just another stud post that said in 60 days they should have some of there own females in heat, so 60 days +10to 14 + 63 +6 or 8 week. so maybe in 195 Days I could get a pup WOW.

Todd, I like the idea of the three subforums...discussion/stud dog ad/ pups & dogs for sale.

I think it kinda makes sense to have three sub-forums for each breed for discussion, stud ads and pups / dogs for sale. The problem is, the discussion forum will turn into nothing but a second stud dog forum so do you even split the two?
