-- Dogs in danger - call timeout - Now What? (http://forums.ukcdogs.com/showthread.php?threadid=497654)

if I felt my dog was in enough danger to call time out, I am going after him right then. we can discuss what to do about your dog later on. if you don't care enough about your dog to try and keep him from getting splattered by a car then you should have never called time out in the first place. I don't care if mine crosses a road, I just don't want him on a "busy highway" as the question stated.

if this was to happen the most logical thing to do is 2 guys go to the tree and score it as fast as possible and the other take off and try to catch both dogs, i am not saying this is how it should be done but it could be done like this, u have the majority scoring and also have a handler in persuit of dogs. or am i missing something here?
