ELB!

Check out my buddy Eric Lee Beddingfield! Coming back to Mid-Missouri tomorrow night.

Here is Nashville Recording Artist Eric Lee Beddingfield and myself after his concert in Columbia MO. Listen for Eric's hit single "The Gospel According to Jones" and the upcoming release of the video featuring none other than Country Legend George Jones. Special thanks to Eric and his wife, Jessica, for allowing us a preview of the video. Eric is a former Georgia Southern football star and in my opinion, one of the best up and coming rising stars in country music today. Being raised is South Georgia, he has even done a little coon hunting. Maybe we can let Eric check out "The Gospel According to Doctor Evil"! LOL---Mark

Brantley Gilbert, Stoney Larue, Shooter Jennings, Randy Rogers Band, Eli Young Band, Chris Ledoux and Colt Ford! That's some good tunes there!!! Colt has some fast stuff, but it's **** sure country! Most all his music and lyrics are country!

Country is over

If your gonna listen to country you gotta listen to something produced up until about 1995. After that everybody want to add a pop twist. I will listen to the crickets if I can't linten to Merle, Marty or lefty. I listen to old country a lot of what is being called country is New Texas Country. There are some catchy tunes but it ain't country. I can listen to some old Rock also. Who doesn't like a magic carpet ride anyway. Anyway to each his own but I think ill stay here and drank.

AMEN!! HE ALSO WROTE ALOT OF SONGS SOME OF THE MAJOR COUNTRY ARTIST ARE FAMOUS FOR. HE ALMOST DIDN'T GET A CHANCE TO SING HIS SONGS BECAUSE OF PERSONAL PROBLEMS OF HIS OWN MAKING BUT GOT STRAIGHTENED OUT AND HAS BECOME ONE OF THE GREATS. HE TOLD'EM "THEMS MY SONGS, STORIES ABOUT MY LIFE, I NEED TO BE SINGING THEM". SURE GLAD THEY GAVE HIM A CHANCE

I have to agree in the last 5 years Jamey Johnson is the best to come out. Hank III is into too much of that hardcore metal stuff for me to get on to his country.

Sorry you can't tell when a guy is just cracking a joke. What I was gettin at was CW McCall was using ryhmes and a smooth flow of talking long before there was anything called rap, which I can't add the word music to as it is NOT music in my opinion.

Jim; If you like Johnny Cash, you might want to see this guy live, much better than he sounds on his video on you tube. Boss Grant and the Johnny Cash Revue. he plays around the Twin Cities. i know he has a show in Owatonna, mn. on August 26th. Best of luck, Charlie Radtke
