...See your up and about already this fine Independence Day. Just had a chance to read this thread, I've been missin' some good stuff. Sorry I haven't been in contact for a while but I've just been chillin'. Hope the new addition is doing fine. I'll bet lil Trever is proud of his baby sis. Hope to get over to see her soon.
...I haven't fooled with my pup out of Bud and Butter Cup much. He hasn't shown much interest in the couple coon I've shown him but Allen and Tim's pups, (Buzz's litter mates) have. I recall another young all blue male that was kinda' slow in takin' off a few years back.

...For those who are interested in getting a pup out of a coon dog, you should look no farther than Ringo. I have 1st hand experience with this fine young hound along with a few well know dogs in his pedigree. Mike and I went hunting this past winter and I saw again what Ringo was made of. With our toe's nearly frost bit, Ringo found a couple coon daring to bear the cold and search for food. Ringo is a strait up, loud, absolutely pull pressure dog tree dog that will do what it takes to search out and tree a coon in any condition, something that he gets honestly. I owned Ringo's Sire, Dam, and Grand Dam, I can promise you that what I see in Ringo is what I loved in the one's before him.
...Far as the Ringo X Jenny cross, this is a double up on Bud and my old Nt Ch Moore's Mountain State Bonnie female. Bonnie was as good as I have ever followed. Oh, by the way, I got to see Jenny in action the same night with Ringo and she treed a coon in stile as well.

...Ringo's mother, Ch Nt Ch Moore's Mountain Stater Bonnie II, (AKA Cassie) is in season right now but I'm not sure I will be able to get her bred, she is 9 1/2 now and her heat cycles are not as strong. I would love to get one more litter out of her but time is getting short. We'll see. I am going to try to cross her back into some of the same stuff that she is made of.

my time management to when it comes to calling people up is bad... really bad...

i've talked to both of you over the phone, and really would like to hit the woods with ringo one night.... i know ringo is your hound, mike. but i just saw ron's name in the last post and thought i'd throw him in the mix too...

when is a good time to call (if you still don't mind me tagging along one night)?

and this time, i WILL call... ha..

We got Cassie bred Friday evening with Tim Wolfe's fine young male. I went with him "Hank" for several reasons. #1 is I believe in breeding coon dog to coon dog. #2, both dogs were early starting natural born coon dogs. #3, both have similar likeness such as quick on track, good mouths, very good distinct locates,and are independent, pull pressure hard chop mouth tree dogs that have very good conformation. These things do not make it guaranteed to produce good quality puppies but it is a good foundation to work on. Mike, you know I always do my home work when it comes to raising puppies and I do not take it lightly. I always keep a couple for my self and try to move on with a better hound than what I already have. I haven't raised a litter in around 3 years and this will be Cassie's last,(if she takes). Cassie has not only proven her self to be a top coon hound but has produced some pretty nice coon hounds as well. With that being said, she is the last of a dieing blood line. Pups directly off of Gr Nt Ch Hindman's Broad Ax Blue Max are scarce as hen's teeth, not only that but she is the one hope left to carry on my old Bonnie hounds blood up close.

...Mike, you have nothing to worry about when it comes to getting a pup but there will be a fairly large demand for these pups so I will not make any promises or bookings.
...I'm sure there will be questions about blood lines and pictures. I will say that Cassie is bred as good as any female in the country. Hank is just a locally bred hound that has some Hammer blood back in the 3rd. Take my word for it, if I didn't think Hank wasn't a worthy sire, I wouldn't have made this cross.
...Sorry so long winded, I'm just a little anxious about possibly getting one last litter out of Cassie. I'll talk to ya later down the road..............Ron

Here is 12 month old "Cash Johnny Cash" Ringo's boy... He is all cooooooondog!!! And whew does he got a booming mouth! Wear the ear plugs when ya go to tie him back. Split tree, belly up, have the meat kinda dog! He is so laid back, acts like he's a old man. Just thought I'd share new pics of him. Thanks

Also, a little further back in his pedigree.......where does the genetics go back to.......is his sire and dam linebred off the same stock?
