What ive seen!

I got to see a few Micheal-n-Lou hounds and gunned off of em---tell-ya ol snow-ball wuz a jaw dropper she wuz always packin 2tons of grit wit equil amounts of hunt and could put it on her day in and day out---wuz lucky e-nuff to raise one outa her and am still feedin her today! Harveys mistake wuz not breedin her again to SNOWS HOLMES----she left before her time------will not ferget her and all the money she cost me in shot-gun shells! She gave it her all and wuz a excellent jump hound----Another jaw dropper was GRCH GRHBCH Clover Ridge Sassy Sharla she had sum power gunned off of her and she had tons of big hunt-all day-night hunt 1st class jump dog---with a set of wheels that were always greezed-- also had the pleasure of raisen a few outa her! Seen alot of hounds and seen a several good ones these 2 are the only ones ive ever seen really impress me!

i would have liked to had like a run off with the michael lu dogs!!!of couse there were such an age difference between them it couldnt happened but i was sittin here thinking WOW wouldnt that been something to see..old jake ricki striker cane snowball rusty geraldine just to name a few run against one another!!im sure it would be ugly!!lol u white river guys know what i mean!!i often wonder if they will ever be another cross as powerful as they were?they werent all great but they all was the same way.hard hitting, fast, competive, jumpdogs, etc.i know the kita ozzie cross the tuff star cross and the prince and lady cross are reproducing great hounds but its to early to tell if they will be as dominate as the michael lulu dogs were, not saying this to offend anyone these crosses are what im most familiar with.i hope all 3 crosses keep on winning like they are...they are making there mark in the beagling world!

I doubt that there will be another cross as total hound as Dale states ez-on the eyes---they were livin nightmare on rabbit populations! I never seen to many that wernt lookers they were fer sure ez-on the eyes and could keep the ice box full of meat real total hounds fer sure!

I believe the Michael x T-Ann cross may be one of the best crosses ever made. They are total dogs if I ever seen em.

Easily one of the if not the best cross ever made..Total Dogs. Look at what they have accomplished ? almost two litter mates in the final pack of the world hunt this year...it came down to a decision that honestly could have gone either way!! The breeding behind both dogs is top notch in that cross as well. It's a shame it can never be made again..

as far as crosses go heres some others just off the top of my head

1. Michale Lulu
2. Prince Lady
3. Jake x Dixie
4. Star Xsnoopy/tuff
5. Boots X chip
6. Tank x Lady
7. king x cant remembe rfemales name
8. Righty x gerty/sam

im probably forgettin some good ones..I was tryin to think of crosses with multiple hounds winning quite a few hunts

research the number on these 8 crosses, you will see multiple top ten world national champs dozens of major event wins, top incentive funds hounds etc....... someday i hope to add Kita x Oz to that list but with only one litter old enuff to be fin ished (5 for 5) i think thats very premature.

I think the Sundown Mark V's King and Sundown Black Sugar Bear cross will rate pretty high. Shame Bear died so early. That cross had her on the reproduction list.

Posted by BJ Wolfe on 01-30-2011 05:38 PM:

would have really liked to see the jake x dixie cross a few more times. i think it could have been even closer to micheal x lulu. some real powerful hounds came out of that cross. the ones that didnt champion wasnt trialed.

You need to organize a group picture of that litter. The dogs in that litter have the ability to run with any company .

Kevin did, I just ran him and trialed him some. He was a good one, that's for sure. He was really just coming into his prime when he died.
