LOL, I can't even get two of the three. I've always been thankful that I'm healthy enough to take a dog to the woods every night. Wealthy and wise on the other hand are not really two words I would use to describe myself LOL.

I have you beat. This is gonna be my first year. My father in law runs Walkers on deer and doesnt coon hunt so I was trying to get him to see if one of his friends would take me out because it sounds like so much fun. I was told "None of my friends are gonna take a female out with them." So on that note I said alrighty then Ill figure it out myself and proceeded to get myself my own coon dogs. First time i hunted i went with Rollin Blue.Believe it was 1959.Im a couple years older than him,i was 14 at the time.He drove his dads truck and we treed 4 coon.If you remember Ron,we were at Black Bridge and we hunted old Speck.Finally got my first plott in 1965 and been too dumb to switch ever since.

I was brought up fox hunting with my dad..I started coon hunting with my own hounds at 21yrs old, now this fall I will be 69. That looks like 48 yrs. of busting brush..

I been hunting since before I even remember going, mom said dad wouldn't leave me even though he knew he'd end up packing me, I'm 37 now and still in it. The best memories of my life are of following an old hound with my dad!

It is about over

I started coon hunting in 1950 so I have been coon hunting for 61 years. I bought my first coon dog, a grade B & T, for $ 25.00 and he was a good one. My father was an invalid so I begged other folks to go with them. They usually took me with them as long as I did all the work, tote coons ,climb trees, cut trees, handle dogs and wade deep cold water to get the dogs. I have always enjoyed it but muliple health problems now are ending a very enjoyable past time for me. Yes I did hunt with carbide lights.
