I was there last year for a few hours. I watched the show and the water race but didn't show anything. I just might have to put Pride in the show and hunt Saturday night.

BTW~I am coming from SC~I20 if you need anything brought back down! I won't have room on the way up!

We are going to try to be there at 8 am but If I were you I would get there around 10ish to try to get a good parking spot and to be able to have time to look around (it will probably be quite a few vendors) before the water race and show.

It is a 7 hour drive for me......look for me around 1:00 or so. I think I'll make it in time for the BS! LOL!

boys i have beeen to alt of hunts in my life and i can guarantee you this club puts on a firsst class hunt.this hunt last year to me rated up with the big boys/grand/setwd etc... this club has gone above and beyond the call of duty to make what i call no down time with alot of things going on/bear bays/bands/vendors/wateer races/bench shows etc.. top guides and judges and goood places to hunt. it you are wondering dont get in your truck and cmon you will be glad you did. and you will mark it on your cal. for years to come.

or we will have to let them go by hand :-)

one year i swam the dogs there, it had rained so much the whole dock was flooded
and they had guys in hip boots that would take your dog from the side & go put it in the box for you.
the dogs almost had to swim just to get to the start box!

The Trees here are Turning color already its so dry ....

I went out at noon for a little Squirrel Hunt with the French X Blue Pup ... Not a Squirrel Out at all ... Guess they were all snoozing ..

Tons of Acorns !!!!! white oaks, red oaks and black oaks !!

The Deer are out everywhere Eating !!

was at clubhouse yesterday for club meeting - the dock was only about 2.5 - 3 feet above the water - the water is not nearly as low as last year :-)
