Ray,
I was just wondering, will this new LED light be much brighter on a 28 volt battery over a 21 volt? I have a 21 volt terminator. Would that give it max brightness? Also, is the beam adjustible to a flood like the 5100 that came on my old Bright Eyes. A friend of mine bought a 28 volt package a few years ago. He almost couldn't use it without blowing bulbs every night. I assume this new LED wouldn't have that problem.
Tom,
I am not Ray, but in conversations i had with him before buying one, he told me the 21 volt vs 28 volt brightness is very little. I have used mine on the 17 i have, and it works great. I took out my 21 volt box light and used it. There is a noticeable difference in brightness there. I am sure that you would be well satisfied using your 21 volt light with this head. that is just my opinion.
Oh yes, the spot on this light is tight, but like all led lights i have seen, it lights up a wide area when turned on, and gives you a cool bluish look in tree. With this one, there is no need to tighten or widen the spot. if he is there you will see him. As for blowing the bulbs, my gathering of info here is that is almost non-exsistent.

Thank you Robert. The reason I was wondering about adjusting the flood a bit, I want to take some video of my young dogs at night.
I will be at the world hunt in Orangeburg
Any light packages out with this new head..Heck If I spend that kind of money..Might as well buy a new light with it! Does it have any pop covers that will fit it?

bought one at the w/c
My hunting bud called and asked me to pick up some bulbs for his 28v K light. on the way Billy Cochrin stoped me ads said to get him one of those new lights from K Light rather than bulbs so I called my bud and guess what he said get it, whew I can't afford it BUT if you want a BRIGHT BRIGHT light get you one hunted 4 nights with him and ain't got nothing to touch it. Don't know what you call it but they were going like hot cakes while I was there. and by the way Regie i believe that is his name, did not have time to talk much selling them heads right and left, Nice folks to deal with. Now I don't use the k light I use the Bama light. But the head K light sells is BRIGHT. Rambled on and on just to say a little so BY for now. Darn rain got my head messed up want to go hunting. See you down the road H L

BRIGHT EYES "WHITE LIGHTING" LED HEAD
well, i thought i would update on my LED experience so far. I have a 17 volt belt light, and the bright eyes white lighting heads works well with it, and is brighter than a 5100 type head for sure. Not being satisfied, i tried it on my boys 21 volt box, with a 5 click postion switch. worked better yet, but somehow, i knew i wasn't getting the full potential out of this head. called ray last week and talked over some options, and decided to order the 21 volt featherlite belt, to go with this new head. He put the correct 5 click switch in this belt before shipping it, and after using it over the weekend, there is no doubt, this head and light combinantion is at the top of the industry. I haven't owned anything other than bright eyes and one cajun light, but i can say, i have hunted with others who have everything you can think of. None are better than this combo. you may can buy one just as good, i don't know. you may can buy one more expensive, or less expensive, but there is none better than this. Thanks Ray for waiting until you could market a quality product. I'm not by any means saying the others are not of quality. I will say Ray took up a lot of time in this design, and probably just about as long convincing this dumb country boy that they would be the next big thing. He was right.
