No rain for the last few days its looking better here Moro Crk down in the banks. All crks starting to fall out. Only thing wrong DEER SEASON opens saturday and no one wants you to coon hunt for about 3 wks now. Hopefully it will not rain a whole lot before we can get back in there.

hey guys, i'm in clinton, north central, we're high and dry here, creeks are flowing good, but, most are crossable, and i'm tagged out for deer season, so, if anybody wants to go, let me know, i've got a young black dog that needs a few pounds hunted off of him

We finally had 15 days straight with no rain. Things just started drying to where you could walk across the yard without the mud caking up in the tread of your shoes.. Some crop fields are still under water in lower lying places, most have been able to harvest this last 10 or so days. The creeks and rivers are starting to lower over here as well.

We have had a light rain this morning, not quite enough to make a mud puddle. We have low chances of rain for the next 48 hours. Looks like another nice weekend coming up!

it is a coon meca, thousands of acres of river bottoms that is only open a few wks out of the year if it is not flooded.

South Unit White River Refuge

Man it is the place to be if you want to put a quick kill season on a dog, it is loaded with coons, Just about the best place around here in our little part of the world. I have heard from a good friend of mine that deer season only, is closed. The North Unit of the refuge is set to open to coonhunters this weekend, I have yet to get a straight answer from the AGFC. I'm workin on it tho!

White River Refuge is still 5' too deep. Talked to a Game Warden friend today that works the area.
