-- What's the best broadhead? (http://forums.ukcdogs.com/showthread.php?threadid=303160)
I just switched to Rag etwo blade and I hate them. The blades flop all over the place and you have make sure before you shoot that they are still in the right position. When you put them in you rquiver if they touch anything the blades get dislodged and you have to reposition them. They make a big hole, but there are several heads that make a bug hole with out those problems. I have killed amny deer with thunderheads and spit fire with out those annoying head aches. I already bought different heads. Big waste of money in my opinion.
clovis heads were all the rage for a while. woodland points will leave a big hole but if they shatter or fragment you will have flint chips in the meat.

i pulled a spit fire out of a doe i shot last years shoulder bone. it was healed over and never even broke it all the way. no power and no penetration. i dont like weak broad heads..

The bow is what generates the power, not the broadhead. This is exactly why states have minimum draw weights. Are you sure you cut out a spitfire or did you just dream that up??? I find that story VERY hard to believe.

I've heard of it before. Be it poor shots of what, but people do find broadheads in deer.
