Bob

Are yall going up on Wed? I will be there sometime Thursday evening. Hope the coons are moving better there than they are here. I struck a cold feeding track last night about 9:30 and she worked that track until almost 11:30 in a swamp and cutover. She finally treed it. Hot aint the word for it here.

RAGS

Wilbern Uchtman hunted two nights with rags at the uchtman hunt . one night with company and the next night we cut him alone. if you know wilbern you know he is not shy about telling you what he thinks about a hound good or bad .you can call him about rags i'm sure he's forgot more about dogs than i'll ever know. derek mooney saw rags in the hunt on sat. night. you can also call him and get his opinion. perry ross was along on thrusday night and saw rags tree a coon. i believe these men will give their honest opinion and tell the good and bad about rags.

Me , Eddie and beaudreaux are trying to get a weekend set up first of next month to meet up and put some lines out in the Tenn. river . I will let you know when were gonna be in town , if you can leave them potlickers alone long enough to help us hoist them big white cat out of the river .

Maybe we can make a hunt , I will bring the camera with me .

IS

this the man that slipped off under the cover of darkness and didn't tell anybody he was leaving???????????

Posted by Perry Ross on 07-09-2009 03:03 PM:

Raggs

Hunted with him at the Uchtman hunt awhile back under rough conditions--very hot and dry. Seen him take a rough track and skip it out deep to pull up treed with the meat. He is a good looking hound with a way above average mouth that will go and tree a coon. Bob has a handle on him for sure seen him never lay a hand on the dog and called him off of a tree with a coon and dog followed him back to the truck which was a long way away. He is a tree dog that can be heard for along way. Had a pup on the hunt and it backed him. Not an ill hair on him. The coon dog has brains. Then if you know Bob the dog has to be a certain kind of dog or he wont have him. Bob will tell you the truth about a dog and knows what a coon dog is. Great man to deal with.

Perry

thanks for the kind words i'll send you a check today. just joking about the check but thanks.

Check

Yea I was going to tell you the last one wasnt any good either. It bounced big time. LOL Naw I would not have posted anything if I did not feel he could do what a coon dog has to do night in and night out. To me being consistent is the key. No jokes he is a real nice dog whether you own him or who ever. Enjoyed hunting with you and Mike. Maybe yall can come down soon and hunt.
