Elvis

I have hunted with Elvis, he is SMART............I watched him tree about 10 coon one cold Feb night, and made it look easy.

I have hunted with several dif young hounds out of Elvis, not one time have I EVER seen any aggressive actions from any of them. I am sure there are some out there, more than likely coming from there mothers side.

As far as Wes goes, you couldnt meet better people than him or his wife..............me and a buddy hunted all night and they insisted we spend the night with them and not get a motel.

You will find in this coonhunting game that there are alot of jealous people, when they see someone else have as much success as Wes as had with Elvis and his offspring you will start to bring out the "Want to be's", so they start to trash others and their success.

Wes, continue to be yourself and dont let some of these jealous Wipea$$'s get to you................................Tim

Wes, The UKC# of the female we sold to a guy for a hog dog is #U851-041. If I remember right her mama was a hardwood bred female. She is still alive and being used a a hogdog.

WOW ONE MEAN ELVIS PUP >>>>>>What about the other nine hundred plus Elvis pups. THOUGHT OF THE DAY _______ half of the people you talk to are below average in intelligence, the other half are above average in intelligence.

Wes, that is the only one I persdoanlly owned. Every other Elvis dog I have hunted with was the exact same way. What kind of opinion would you make if you hunted 4-5 different young dogs out of the same sire, owned by different people and they all were very aggressive on the tree, on the leash, and in the box?

Originally posted by million dollar man---"She had an easy "puppy hood", and had no aggression at all except towards other dogs. From the time she was 4-5 months old she would attack any other dog around here for no reason. I am sorry I seemed to strike a nerve Wesley, and I know people seem to bite their lip about this subject with you and Elvis's offspring, but it is common knowledge he throws very dominate, aggressive dogs. I hear it EVERY weekend at PKC and UKS hunts. " ORIGINLLY POSTED BY MILLION DOLLAR MAN "I hear it Every weekend at PKC and UKS hunts." Now you say you have hunted with them , which is it? Get the story straight.

Can you not comprehend basic english Wes? I owned ONE of them and had family and coonhunting friends who owned the others. We bought all but one of them within 1 month of each other. Mainly after seeing Elvis in the legends video and being impressed by his ability.

I agree coonsmen. I am not trying to take this anywhere.
I find it odd that having been a lurker on several coonhunting forums and reading bad things posted about other stud dogs, Elvis seems to be the only dog that noone can report anything negative about when it comes to his offspring.
I have spoken to many people over the last year and a half about dogs over the phone and in person and many of them have said the same thing about the Elvis pups and dogs they have hunted with.
All it is , is constructive criticism. If your in the professional side of this "business" you need to be able to take it. If it is repetitive enough you need to be mature enough to look into and see what the problem may be. I am not the only person who has commented about aggressive dogs. One guy posted about one that Mr. Sanford sold to him personally. You should hear the entire story.

Denial is a sad state to live in.

Elvis Pup

I hunted with a 2 year old MALE dog off of Elvis last night and he didn't have a mean hair on him no where's. Not to mention he was a COONDOG, one that I wouldn't care to own. I know this is just one, but I was really impress with him. Thanks. TIm Bolden

The truth is it dosent matter what dog it is their is going to be mean pups out of it. But it does not have to come from the sire but it could come from the dam. I have three pups out of the same sire here that is totally different in personality. Two looks almost identical but their from different females. The other is open spotted and she and one of the males is totally laid back the other male is vicious.

Travis P you are exactly right. However over- aggression is a genetic trait. Can come from sire or dam as dominate gene, or influx of recessive genes from each. ELVIS Secret fact--- The first litter of pups Elvis produced were shown on "TREE MY DOG", and were inbred. None were ill in anyway, watch the video. Elvis x his full littermate sister was the cross. The inbred Hank dog became PKC CH at a year and a half, his inbred sister 'SHELBY' hunted by Mike Newton ,got in top 9 of 2 year old PKC SS.
