On the way home from Erie. Girl's day out..one of my friends turned 70. Spent the AM at casino for a few hrs, then lunch at Golden Corral, then stopped at: Field and Stream, Gander Mt and Dicks. Got Chuck a couple of pocket knives and a training collar. He better really like his pocketknives or he may have a shocking experience with his new collar.

Rob you can come help me finish mine, have 4 big pines down that need limbed, cut and split. Hopefully after that I'll have enough, still have a couple ton of coal to burn as well. Winter is coming on quick.

Going to freeze good tonight, so will have to start digging the root garden soon. Everything else is done, which is fine I'm kinda tired of finding people to donate garden veggies too.

Most of the women on the float were daughters & girlfriends, not many of the guys showed up. Next year there will be a bigger turnout if they don't go to a big hunt across the state.

Grew up cutting firewood, I was Dad's sidekick in the timbers, they still burn firewood. We have a corn/pellet stove, so much easier to deal with. Go spend way to much money at Mills Fleet Farm or Menards on crap, pick up a ton of pellets & there is some nice rear axle weight & bring in a couple bags at a time.

Finished my online application for Tractor Supply this afternoon, pretty sure my mouth & temper is going to get my happy butt in trouble real soon. So much actual crying going on & I don't have time to coddle grown adults.

My friend was camping this past wkend about 20 miles from here. She said it was down to 26.
Chuck cut 5 loads of firewood before archery season started. We have a Mahoning outside woodburner. He hasn't started it yet. The 2 nights we had frost, I plugged an electric heater on for a couple of hrs.

I have an outdoor stove as well, it eats it dry or not. Yeah I saw him, he reminds me of the Taz dog I had out of Velvet. I've heard grenade has drive for days. Come to think of it, a lot of Scott's dogs do lol.

YEA SCOTT HAS HAD SOME GOOD ONES. MY FEMALE IS OUT OF HIS DRUM DOG. I REALLY LIKED THE OLDER FEMALE HE HAD NAMED CRY. MAX WAS A GOOD DOG TILL HE LOST HIS LEG.

I try to stay as far away from the woodburner as possible. 5 yrs ago, I had my hair frosted and the beautician fried it. Chuck was still working so when I came up from the barn I thought I'd fill the woodburner. When I opened the door the fire caming roaring out at me and singed my already fried hair so bad that I got it cut off to about 2" long. But Chuck said when he use to haul the wood in our shortbed Dodge, he thought 30 loads would last the winter.

Red Dogs are Ready

These red dawgs are ready. They been putting them up lately. We have treed 4 different trees with 2 or more coons in them in the last week. This is very unusual for our area.
This was last night. had (2) in this tree.

Night before last a friends dogs treed a Sow and a Cub. Momma was not happy. she was only about 12ft above my head snapping at me. Here is a pic of her cub.
