Hay all,
I took Jas camping on Tuesday. Only went for 1 night, but rode 3 hrs Tuesday and 6 hrs yesterday. Came home to a lame Ruby. Chuck took her out and she got into a porcupine 😞 He said she had 30-40 quills in her leg just above the paw. I really wanted to take her to an HTX on Saturday, not sure if we will now. I put some drawing salve on it and have it wrapped. She's at least putting weigt on it today.

Rob, archery season started here on Saturday.
I took the NRA pistol certification course. But I probably can't hit anything smaller than a house at 40 yds.

I was wondering where AppBlue was, too.

R garden is almost over, too. Still a few watermelons. I'm gonna miss them. I eat watermelon every day (except the day I went camping) usually twice a day.

Hope everyone stays safe and dry from this hurricane. Sounds like its going to be nasty in FL.

Morning y'all, it's a blustery 57 degrees here this morning and raining. Looks like finishing up my firewood ain't gonna happen today. Been a while since I've been on here, hope all is well.

Rob I'm going to try to make Eckhart today, shouldn't have too much in my way with the rain. Gonna be a busy day, Eckhart at 2 then get back home to get to Petersburg by 5 for our last event of the season.

Well I didn't make it to Eckhart but I was able to get best female of show against competition(finally) at Petersburg to finish Wide Open Lil Blue Daisy to show champion. I also won a new light on a raffle. Not a bad $5 investment.

It's a blazer tracker II, nice little light for buying $5 worth of tickets. Having problems getting that picture uploaded for some reason, keeps putting it upside down.

Havin a lazy day here after a long night out with Ruby. We took her to an HTX last night; she didn't pass😞 Had one fault for leaving a tree...a first for her. Then she treed the last 10 minutes of the hunt. We let her tree 5 minutes, but the tree she treed on was huge. U couldn't shine the one side because of the under brush. We didn't get home until after 2. Had dogs to let out and feed, 🐎s to hay, and after slipping on wet cornstalks and falling and being in brush and jaggers over my head, I needed a shower bad! Took a muscle relaxer and went to bed at 3, still awake at 5 so took an ambien and died. Should be riding with friends today, but tomorrow looks better. Watching Steeler game with Chuck.

Congrats on both ur wins, WVCoonrunner.

Has anyone heard from AppBlue or Hayseed? Maybe they ran off and started another thread on the Bluedog page.

WB, I saw a story on TV about the ticks causing red meat allergy. The guy they interviewed almost died before the drs figured out what was going on.

Work is still crazy nothing went right today & I ran up to the wire getting out of there.

The coon club entered a float in the covered bridge festival parade, they wanted my dogs to ride on the hayrack & walk along side. It was fun listening to people, Grace & Lucy loved the attention. Rose & the pup decided the straw floor was a good place for a nap. The pup walked for quite awhile. Now the girls are happy to be home & out on a hunt.

The other half has spent the weekend at our daughter's pupsitting, so it's been a quiet relaxing one. Getting ready to get some fast food & watch the debate.

App's been busy with hunts with catfish from what I've seen on fb.

Morning all cool here in the mountains 41 when I got getting cooler that's great because this and most of September was miserable hot now all we need is a good killing frost but anyway it's going to be a whole lot easier climbing these hills

Dan saw Corky at Tri County Saturday I guess you couldn't get a kitchen pass like Linkous and Price I know y'all ant Hen Pecked ya just have Hen House ways both Price and Linkous are the head of there house holds even though Connie and Betty are the neck that turns the head

Finally figured it out Daisy is out of quad grand "PR" Newsome's Mud River Ranger HTX x Ch "PR" E-Town's Blue Bella. Took 6 shows and 190 points but was finally able to wrestle up some competition that wasn't another one of my dogs to finish her out.

Congrats. Sorry everyone. Havent been on the ukc forums for awhile. Got tired of all the depressin whinny threads. So the wife made me a fb account. But yea rob catfish won first place registered at our eckhart walker sectional. The wife splt up to guide the grnite cast. They pulled in some scores. 2 dog cast. I think one was 525 and the other was 375. Catfish won his cast wit 225 plus and 125 circle

Hayseed, Did u get any pictures of the girls in the parade? I use to ride in a couple of parades a yr, but haven't been in one for a couple of yrs. How's Pickles doing?

We took Ruby out tonight. She treed once up a hemlock and then I dove car to the next field over and Chuck took Ruby around. She treed again, that time he got to see it. Only out about an hr because he was up early to go archery hunting and will be going again in the AM. We had our first frost this AM. The leaves are really starting to turn colors. Rode horses for a couple of hrs today. Great day and night to be out!

It was a simple float but it isn't a fancy parade about 2 miles long through town. We all had fun tossing candy & one liners to friends & family. The younger guys handled the Grace, Lucy & Pickles who walked beside the float, Rose milked the attention from float riders. The dogs took in & handled quite a few new experiences, they gave more kisses to babies than the politicians in the parade. Probably stole as much candy as well.

Pickles is doing great, lots of watching & learning. Today Rose & Cin aren't putting up with her nonsense, they have been laying out the discipline hard.

I'm still alive !! Just in case anyone was wondering.. lol we survived Matthew!!! It was terrible !! It's been cold down south !! The low was 54 !! That's feeezing to me !!!!
