that is so great to hear!!! if at anytime you can join our group on facebook .grnitech grch pkc sch stebers mighty lonesome II. I guess im going to take a little time this week to take lonesome to the vet again, he just isn't acting right and didn't finish his food today, this is very abnormal for him but has been acting groggy for the last 10 days or so?

had the pleasure oif hunting with hutch again last night!!! he lives appr. miles south of me we had a great hunt,buster struck then slammer lonesome struck behind us buster and slammer treed 792 in buster left slammer stayed had a coon sent him and buster on slam went west buster east and lonesome is treed 800 behind us buster treed 300 in rolled his coon he struck while walking out we left him alone and he treed about 200 in rolled it went to lonesome while slam was treed in .69 lonesome coon was rolled out and we drove around closer to slammer and he had a den, ive never followed young hounds as nice as these and sure am proud!!!
THANKYOU ALL FOR FOLLOWING THESE YOUNG HOUNDS AND SHOWING FOLKS WHAT THIS DOG IS REPRODUCING!!!OLE LONESOME II AND I APPRECIATE IT TO THE HILT!!!!

Is as good of a young dog as I've ever turned loose. Has it all in one package . Looks brains nose and mouth and is big anuff. John these Missouri boy's will help you any way we can.

I CANT LIE ON OUR COMPETION HUNT,IT GOES DOWN IN HISTORY AS ONE OF THE WORST LOL BETWEEN THE DOGS ALL LOOKING LIKE CRAP AND A VERY INCOMPETANT JUDGE IT MAKES FOR A VERY SAD 2 HOURS,BUSTER 2 GOT THAT BAD NIGHT DOWN AND BEHIND HIM AND IM HOPING WE CAN ONLY GO FORWARD.HE IS VERY HOARSE AND WANTED TO LEAVE TREES ALL NIGHT. well its been an iffy week here with the temps going crazy, I hunted sunday night with Andy Davis and a buddy of his that bought the male pup out of molly and lonesome, we treed 5 and a den and lonesome got to quick and beat one to the tree!!!buster and andys dog treed 2 and a den lonesome and slammer treed2 and they all were on the last one,then I went for a short hunt with buster and he went in and got treed 403 yrds with a coon Wednesday night,[-6 temps] and Thursday night I took buster and lonesome III buster pulled the im not hunting bs and took some correction,while lonesome III went in at 512 and got treed with a coon. so im not to disappointed in the hound world ive got 1m female from lonesome III and a male and female from lonesome 2 and molly to sell so im down to 3 puppies left im keeping a female from buzz and krayzee named Lorene and a male from 3 and roxy hope to name lonesome IV he is definitely a hound and was the runt in the litter,I will try to figure out pictures again soon

best night in a while!! lonesome II and slammer put on a show,1st drop slammer struck at appr. 100 yards lonesome struck and treed slammer went on and as we were rolling lonesomes out slammer came treed 165 further and had his coon what really impressed me was the shooting and him not coming to it!!! 2nd drop slam struck then lonesome they took it in appr. 350 slammer located then lonesome and treed it right!! rolled it to them also!! I was impressed with brian wegers pup slick he opened up some on this one!!

Sounds like coons stirred a little better out your way. According to my Garmin , Goose covered 2.11 miles to get treed last night. Stay on them. Sounds like your young dog is clicking!!

I hunted slammer in a pkc hunt tonight. I knew he just isn't ready with my standards but tried anyways, Of course he didn't win but showed the other 2 dogs how to be indepenant ist drop walker struck then 2nd walker then slam 1st walker treed and other backed as slam worked 200 yards away tree was slick and as they recut slam was treed of course they ran in and backed him another slick, recut slam 1st strike then walker female and the male walkers tree and slam takes it on no coon seen its a den, recut and slam is 300 north and ta da they run right to him and beat him to a tree coon seen and slam wouldn't tree with them so I lost but seen some stuff I wanted to see!!

I saw some Lonesome pups at the winter classic and they were very classy good looking pups. They looked like bluetick hound pups are supposed to look like.

im hoping mr lonesome II has enjoyed the time he has had off!! we shall start his every night plan again soon.he is in the best looking shape he has been in since weaning,but im sure some long races will wear that off of him.i reckon its time to get busy with him and a youngin.We have a 10 day lay up tyhen off we go.several good hunts to attend and he is definitely not ready,Ive had a great 2018 season with all the young hounds.slammer buster, lonesome III and sam,ive got a couple young females im starting on soon with hope and luck they may make hounds to, yall have a great day!!!

back to the grindstone took lonesome and slammer last night.1st dump they were hot and cold then slam fell treed and lonesome wanted to half heartedly back and it was more than likely slick but went into a pine. I yelled at him and he went 100 yards fell treed and had a pair!! so we moved to another spot they hit hot lonesome treed slam backed and when we got close they left it, checked the tree with garmin and they had left a coon so 756 yards later lonesome got treed and had a coon slammer never got treed again but came in when I yelled at him so we are making progress!!

and we hunt again lonesome and slammer, corey hunted the pup from star and lonesome II don't think he is gonna make the cut? but they all don't make it.and he hunted the walker ruger dog. 1st dump lonesome struck slammer then ruger, ruger and slam tree slam rolls on ruger is slick lonesome is treed 357 further in slam backs him with a coon recut them lonesome 1st then slam then ruger off to left,they all tree not sure who was 1st we drove around walked in 500 ruger and lonesome on a nice den with no coon seen again slam not at tree he isn't wanting to tree with strange company
. it started sleeting so we quit and came home

ive hunted the last 2 nights with company and the hounds haven't seemed to be cooperating very well.breed championship this weekend for pkc and all I can do is punt,lol we shall see how it plays out? lonesome was acting goofy last night so I toned him and he went back to the truck,as I went back I could hear slam and the walker treed but slam decided to sulk on that one then,corrective action on lonesome and he was 650 under a coon.next dump slam struck then lonesome then the walker.this one ole goose got in on and rthey split treed lonesome and walker together goose by himself slammer sulking,slammer corrected and no coon found on either trees. slammer went deep and the walker fell treed 200 had meat, lonesome half treed and slick slam still macting up so more correction and trees with a coon time to go home!!!!!!!

hunted a pkc open last night, and its got me thinking blood work needs done lonesome just doesn't act like himself anymore he is off and on with energy seems to be doing a repeat of the lymes times we treed 2 coon but he left the 1st one when they backed him then was byhimself on his 2nd 1. tonight was the breed championship I got beat by rage. he took 4th strike and the other 3 treed w coon lonesome was 650 treed with coon,rage was treed by lonesome and minused leash locked to other 2 treed they had a coon recut and lonesome had 1st strike rage 2nd they went deep rage treed with coon other 2 treed with coon rage treed with coon lonesome .76 with coon recut with 11 left rage treed behind us and had coon. score was rage 450 lonesome 325 polly 250 ana I wasnmt sure on it was fun but lonesome is gonna have to pull it together!!!

hunted slammer and lonesome III the last 2 nights, and couldn't be happier with them slammer made 2 trees with coons last night and turned him loose tonight for a short drop and they went in and treed with a coon!!im hoping to get all them quirks worked out of these hounds soon
