Tim, thanks, no I have not found him and no one has called , he had my name and phone on his collar, I have looked every morning before work since he went missing, I've come to the conclusion that someone stole him or a snake killed him.....Gerald

Hunt

Been hunting MadDog Two Gun Johnny Reb ( John II x Bee) between the rain storms, coons have been moving early, seen one on my lease yesterday at 3:20in the afternoon, doesn't pickup again until after 10:30just have to roll with the punches, that's what hot weather here I the south does for you....Gerald

Hunt

I took Jude and Johnny Reb out last night for a round, Jude struck about 300 yards in on a creek, Johnny Reb put in with her, they pushed it back and forth across the creek and across a gravel rd into a thicket. They had a rough time in mass of briars and pine saplings , Jude pulled up treed and the pup didn't want any part of it, after finally working my way into her found her treed on a pine about 20 feet tall, it was clear it was slick, I called that a night and came home, guess I will try it again tonight.....Gerald

Well Shelly has 12 pups I will get a head count on the boys and girls, these pups should be athletic hounds with good mouths, layup ability, get in and get treed with the meat , rather it be 20yards or 1200 yards, first coon up type of hounds split tree artis that will have a coon and not take all night to do it.... Hunting and culling weekend

Made a short round with a 14 month old first cut he went in 550 yards and no strike he worked his way back to me where I picked him up and moved on, second cut was 667 yards and same result no hit, lighting and a storm moving in so I brought him in, culled one today, and have another moving up that list, he has about 4 weeks and the lights will go out, good luck fellows.Gerald

Hay went hunting with my john 2 x Shelly pup cut her loose wit Pauls john3 dog john3 got in 300 yards and got treed and my pup sister got treed 200 yards behind him and had the meat second drop I walked her around a corn field by herself and she treed another coon by herself she has only been in the woods six or seven times as Tim would say its in the blood

Great to here, Jarrald Parker has a male that has not been hunted, just been running loose, he told me he has run and treed several cage coons they turn loose, I got the male back from Al. MadDog Two Gun Yetti, he will be my project this season, It's In The Blood, Gerald

Hunted last night with Nathan Harrod and Justin foyil we had a good time Justin's MadDog Astro pup looked nice on a hot tough night , ready for some cooler weather to hunt these young dogs in.......Gerald

Darren he's doing good just now starting to hunt him, I let him get a little more size to him, cooler weather is coming in and that means it's time to pound the timber hard, leaves have already started dropping here, and like seeing if a youngster has it when they start treeing, makes training and correcting a lot easier, when he stars up good we will make hunt....Gerald
