the little Spice female was in on 3 out five trees tonight stayed treed 45 min or better with Ices mother tonight. just seemed to get better as the night went on treed stronger and stronger with each and every tree! I was telling Chris tonight if I was to but Ice and her together they just may have pups most people wont want to hunt lol she loves to get in the woods she just so raw this Stinger pup is not for the faint of heart!

Good to see you have her going,you make me laugh( this Stinger pup is not for the faint of heart!)Most of Stingers offspring are like this.I like them wild and plenty of go power.your pup just turned a year old,I like what i seen out of Toby,The Stinger hounds should be turning up at the hunts this spring.i have two I`m liking real well,
I went with Tom and Legend,Ted Larger with his new male Blue,I took Powder Tom and Ted handled her for me.Legend put a show on he caught one on the ground treed two singles and two dens.powder split on one tree and lost one in a corn field.I`ll tell you Larry Legend is nice.if you ever get down this way you should see him go sometime.where do you live in Michigan?would you take a man hunting if we made the drive up?I`ll see if Tom would bring him up your way.just a thought.hey thanks again for getting your Stinger female in the woods.

about 2 hr drive from you streight north up 75 to the 23 split exit 67 which is m59 go east 10 miles then north about 7 Davisburg MI I would take you hunting and do my best to feed and water ya too! I would love to see him go we would have a ball I just have a lot of streight up woods no farms some swaps it would be good to get him up hear in this water. Ya she is going to make a coon dog Spice that is just what kind is yet to be seen but will keep putting her in the woods with dogs that are not going to take her backwards. call me any time my phone 248-875-6002

I would have been back sooner but I `m getting work done on my pc.I would love to come up for a hunt sometime.I`m wanting to drive tonight if I cn get my son to handle couple hounds.old man winter dropped a couple inches of new snow this morning.I`m hoping to be able to hunt up at ashland this year.I`ll call or pm you when I`m coming your way.thanks ahead of time.

we got the same hear I am still planning on taking spice should make for good tracking GOOD WET SNOW I hunted Ices pup Mini lastnight these two young dogs are wearing old girl out lol she looked pretty good as well just going to keep alternating them until I bring the mack daddy out Ice storm.. lol.

the one with the deeper chop going in and out what a rough night so dont think she could get all the sent but gives you a idea of what shes doing at a year old and third time in the woods with a made dog!

she looks good for only being out a few times .she don`t have the mouth that Toby has.looks like you are doing good with her.we treed two on the outside and caught one on the ground.

not much mouth but it also hard to gage there because storms mouth is all but gone. She didnt come into the tree right away I let her do her own thing then she came in you see she was not forced to tree I didnt tie her for that reason lot of guys will hurry and tie them I want her to make that choice! Thats the only one I treed I put the 6 on them insteed of the 8 after they struck Storm came treed with 9 seconds left lot more snow in those woods then I thought so I took them back home we can build on this!

How old is Stinger? Do you have seman froze on him? I have a 2 y/o gyp out of Darby's Lead and Ormiston's Starr that's a nice little hound. She's in heat now, but I don't want to breed her until next year.

I just hooked my PC back up and it seems to be working good.
Larry, I understand what you are doing she acts real good.your right its hard to judge a mouth ,Stinger don`t have half the mouth he used to have,but he has a good carring mouth that you can hear for a long ways off.
Jim, Stinger will be 7 july 4th. their would be alot of Diamond Jim in this cross.i`ve always wanted to cross a Darby female with Stinger or Tree Daddy. I feel it would be a good cross Stinger has alot of well balanced hounds out of him.its hard to belive his oldest litter won`t be three until the end of june.
Shane, it looks like you may get more snow.you still only have three hounds tied out back?
Bill, I enjoyed talking to you.let me know how the Female turns out.man you have my head working on Old Hickory now,i`m gonna do some searching when this snow comes in and see if this would work,you know i`m interested and a little curious.

still 3, midge, gater and stormi, getting pounded with snow, 20 plus inches now, not susposed to stop til 10 tomarrow night.

Shane,we don`t have that much here,the drifts are high and expecting high winds all day.
What i`ve seen from the Stinger hounds they are well balanced most are natural strike and trail big hunting most have good mouths on them,I seen some real hard tree dogs and others that are just avg.just like any hound time in the timber and handling brings it out of them.I know i like the two that i`ve been hunting the most here.good luck and keep us updated on her just a few times in the timber,she has a good start.Thanks

hello

hi matt hope your healing up ok there and not overdoing it. i tried calling this afternoon but no answer. we still have a pretty bad crust here. there are a few coon starting to move around. i hope to get boomer out later in the week. molly is getting big. she's not due until march 1. she will be wider than she is long by then. should be a good cross i'm hoping to keep a couple myself. best wishes dennis
