Rex i know one bunch treed bear at 7am yesterday, called it quits at 8am to hot it was 93 and humidity was 90. -- see ya --- PS i am going to move camera this week. !!!!!

Hayseed, my husband and I both worked at state prisons and my son still does. Chuck thought if he took a CO position at one, he could transfer to one they were blding in our area. Came to find out that wasn't so. He was driving 80 miles one way so he transferred back to his previous state job (40 miles away). I was a records specialist for 16 months and hated it so I quit after I saved enough $ to buy Chuck a new ATV, he wanted a snowmobile, too; but I told him to forget it. I think r son will have 5 yrs in as a CO in November.
Hope u find out what's tearing ur girls up. Is Rosie's leg ok now?

We had a nice time at Mahaffey yesterday. Took Ruby to try her in the water race. Shes no Michael Phelps...LOL, but she stayed in til the end, the same position she was in most of the way. She was the only female Redbone in the bench show so we did well. She finished first in her cast at the FT, but lost at the final so she got 10 pts. And we put her in the treeing contest...she won it with 115 bark avg. We haven't taken her much, but every time we go to a competition someone comments on how nice a voice she has. She got a nice trophy for that and of COURSE she got vanilla ice cream on the way home! Must have been a little hard on her; she's just layin around today on recliner farting!

WB, hope Stacey is improving. Are they still planning on doing the 2nd surgery?

Fun weekend of chasin some blackies around. Got one up early early Sat mornin and ran a few pounds off of one yesterday . Super hot and humid both days. Goin to give them a break tell the weekend.

Stacey is still in ICU they have removed her breathing tube and gave her a Trach to breath threw her tongue is still swollen so there still waiting to do the next operation she is alert and knows but can not talk yet

WB still praying for Stacey, sending all the brain healing powers I can.

I had about the same problem 4 years ago, still have 2 anyerusms behind my left eye on the main blood vessel feeding the brain. They are small buggers & were caused by my immune system causing inflammation in my blood vessels; vasculitis. The neurologist had never seen anyone live through such a severe attack. Yet there I sat just annoyed to death over the whole deal. It took a good year & a lot of hard work to crawl out of that hole. My left side is now my weak side & that frustrates me when I'm tired & have work to do. My specialists decided against surgery & turned me out to pasture, except I was too weak to even go into the pasture so I amused myself by popping aggressive birds off the suet blocks with the 10/22.

That is why I don't work in law enforcement & nursing. Also why I'm pretty proud I've recovered enough to work at a gas station.

However I'm digging hard, having to use my lower case to get through a day.

Going up to urgent care this morning to get some prednisone to take care of several things. That is the best thing about being a medical freak, docs don't understand my illnesses & give me what I ask for.

Rex Rose's leg is inflamed again, she's getting around slowly but spends most of her day sprawled out on the couch. We've been keeping her close to the house but I think she slipped off while I was typing this.

William Ziegler escaped this mortal realm on Friday, July 29, 2016 at the age of 69.
We think he did it on purpose to avoid having to make a decision in the pending presidential election.
He leaves behind four children, five grandchildren, and the potted meat industry, for which he was an unofficial spokesman until dietary restrictions forced him to eat real food.
William volunteered for service in the United States Navy at the ripe old age of 17 and immediately realized he didn’t much enjoy being bossed around. He only stuck it out for one war.
Before his discharge, however, the government exchanged numerous ribbons and medals for various honorable acts.

Electric came back on about 11 Pm.

Have a cousin in Baton Rouge. He's ok because his house is on a piece of high ground, but a mile away people have water in their ATTICS! I feel so bad for them and their animals. Our basement had about 3" of water in it last yr and what a mess....had to take out carpet, paneling, etc and NO FLOOD insurance.

On a happier note...400 pictures in 3 days on the trail cameras. Had a couple of Redbone dogs, a bear, some turkeys, a couple of fox and alot of deer. Especially BUCKS, BUCKS and more BUCKS!!!! Looks like the 10 pt may be a 12 pt!

Hayseed, I just took my last prednisone this Am, still have cyclobenzapr left...ribs and back are much better. Hope u have a good day.

I just woke up, sitting outside having a few smokes, enjoying iced coffee & waiting to hear from the other half to head home from the city. Will probably crawl back in bed after I feed him, going down to Winterset for Mexican sounds like a better idea. Moved Rose's vet appointment up to tomorrow afternoon, now I just need to remember to take his truck to work, there is no way she can get in mine.

Didn't limp at all today, no pain & got a ton of bakery stuff out. I love prednisone. Thought the Humira would do the trick but it didn't & way too many side effects to continue using it if it didn't work. The Rhuemy is on vacation so I'll be called in for butt chewing when he gets back, this isn't the first time I've gotten stubborn on him.

Trail camera pictures are the best, I've been pondering the new one that has cell service from Verizon. It emails the pictures to you. My inbox would be full of pictures of yotes, coon, blue ticks & a few deer.

Glad the power wasn't off long. Hubby gets a little too excited when ours goes out, nothing like listening to a generator drone on & not tripping over drop cords in the house.

We enjoy looking at trail camera pictures, too. Its nice seeing what is coming in the yd every night. Got over 100 pictures the night before last. Was thinking the regular 10 pt was becoming a 12 pt, but now think the 12 pt is a new gang member.

Heading home with Chuck's parents, his mom will be 93 in Oct and doesn't cook much, his siblings and he had a mtg and decided we should take turns taking them out. We got Fridays so we've been taking them out for fish.

Its Horsethief days in Knox so Chuck's classmates decided at the reunion 2 wks ago to get together sgain tonight. A guy from my class is in a band that is playing at the street dance. Should be a fun night if the rain stays away.

Christian is now a sophomore in high school.
