Took my Lonesome II pup tonight for the first time. He didn’t tree with the other dog but was at every tree, jumped on 2 coons when they hit the ground and went crazy on them. Put a short drag down for him and he treed it. He’s seen 1 cage coon and the 2 we rolled out tonight in his life. I like what I saw out of him. First blue dog I’ve ever turned loose and it won’t be the last time I cut one either.

Had a great hunt with Scott and Bryce Sifford last night at the mingo reserve, lots of water which was good for lonesome scotts ole penny female looked good and copper out of lonesome II was impressive, we treed 6 coon a den and a slick tree soo all in all a good night, it was the first time I ever walked in that much water though lonesome was in .91 mile with a coon and we walked at least a half mile in8 to 12 inches of water.i brought buster II Home with me im hoping for great things out of him. it sounds as if he has an attitude after breeding a female so time will tell how he is

had a great hunt with kale Reagan,danny coy and brian weger last night. the dogs looked fair. brian brought loco and I had buster which are littermates {lonesome II x wegers queen}. they treed one together not sure who was 1st but that's awesome to see!!! I was beaming!!! lonesome made 2 trees and both had coon in them. kale was hunting the josh dog I sold him a few years ago he treed in a drainage ditch tile and dannys dog got treed a couple times also. all in all it was a rough night, I think the coon are ready to rut!!!

Ol Smokey went to the woods for the second time last night, got on the wood a little and treed some. That was the highlight for us, couldn’t get a good track going

Sorry to hear that Steeb. My first cousin died with a massive heart attack Friday night. He was only 46. He was skinny as a rail and just didn't expect that to happen. He was young as well.

thankyou all. ive hunted the last 3 nights with lonesome and Wednesday night right off treed a blank? I yelled at him and he went 100 yards and treed 1 then about 300 and another. he has made 9 trees the last 3 nights and after I scolded him he hasn't missed no dens no slicks 8 coon. ive had alotta fun hunting him and his offspring im excited to see what the next couple years will bring

hunted buster II in his first hunt last night.cant wait to get to know this hound.i heard several big locates but sat back on them.all I can say is soon my friends, he will be coming up to title real class act just needs a handler that can hear and know him!!! many nights of alone time coming right up.the smurf dog looked really nice last night but we both took some minus and it cost us big time.

Is as good of young dog as I've ever started I look for him to make some statements in the comp world he is as classie tree dog as I've ever seen I love everything about him mouth looks brain's and seize and will get hooked under a coon. I'm looking forward to getting a cuple more treeing coons out of lonesome2. He is throwing coon dogs

its really super nice to watch all these young hounds tree coons!!! never in my time have I watched so many just take off and do it!! but yet not one of the big dawgs would dare bring a female to him I chuckle and laugh when they think you should bring your bitches to them because theyre so much better!! yes its whats wrong with the breed!!! it would be real hard to breed one of mine to theirs so I think mine will be bred to the little guys like myself, its not about money or popularity its about a coon dawg. and these seem to be doing what im looking for. thankyou all that are hunting lonesome pups, so many great results!!

well the was a great one 30 mile hour winds blowing snow and colder than H, lonesome beat himself again!! ball struck 100, lonesome 75 other dog 50 ball trees 100 den circle lonesome trees 175 plus coon on outside ball strike ball tree 125 plus coon seen in den looking good lonesome strike 25 lonesome assing around 8 min 30 sec left he half ass trees aint right stationary on him 556 tree hunt over go to him he ghas a fallen tree into several empty trees minus 125 makes me a loser again but oh well we tried

Sodbuster closed out our kill season fri night with a nice 20lb boar coon. He’s been treeing coon all season only 2 misses. He loves to go and wants to please. I’d like to thank Charles Ethridge for sending him my way. And thank you John for producing such a nice hound.
