Hope you get ole Logan bred to another female again. Still haven't bred Blue to anything yet but I still have lot if time to.

Scott ....I have had my share of pups over the years simply because for a number of Years I wanted to see what some of the best uchtman, rambo, hammer, smoky river, etc had and how they differed.
I had a female otta UNCLE PEN that was a natural. She was the grittiest female pup I have ever seen when it came to having an outright spaz attack over the scent of a coon. At 3 months old she actually grabbed a live coon and someone was going to die...she wud totally lose control w hatred.
She was a loner most of the time and when she treed she wud have fur.
Had a voice that wud cover most males and was laid back in the kennel. Kinda tite lipped for me at the time, but as I have aged and learned I wish I had her behind the house still.
I hope you get a litter outta that uncle pen dog....that blood I believe was not used enough....good luck !

Thanks for the story on the Pen female. Hope we get some more on the ground soon.

That's a good looking matchup! I'm betting there will be some coon dogs that come out of that one! I'll go out on a limb and bet there will be some show champs as well. Good to see Logan paired up with some good females before its to late. Best of luck to you!

I have been looking forward to a cross on Logan like this (Being 1/4 Jet bred) for some time. Thanks to Randy for bring in such a nice female to make it happen with.

We were unable to get the Luna cross done on the Boomer female so we do not have anything bred by Logan. I have been dealing with the progestrone tests this week on Creek and need to try and get her bred in the next couple of days so Logan is going to get the job. Logan along with being a coon dog has been the most reliable breeder and reproducer we have had. He will be 12 in a couple of months but still is a very aggresive breeder and had sired a litter about a year ago.

Logan

Ol' Logan keeps getting along pretty good. Its sad to see the old boy getting old and he is pretty stiff in his joints. The warmer weather helps some and I have been giving him some pills for his joints but I am not sure if that helps or not. Hope to get some pups out of him and Creek. If she has some I will performance him for the rest of 2016.

Great picture of Boss when he was little. He never lets us down I am so thankful Bailey was able to get such a nice hound. Boss is one of the most well balanced hounds I have followed In a long time. Lay up or track driving it doesn't matter he will get parked under a coon. We would love to get our hands on another logan pup. Once Boss is finished we may try to get a pup or 2 off of him if we can find a quality female to breed too.

When Boss was a pup there was a couple of guys here from Michigan picking up pups and an older gentleman came along with them he was taken by Bosses looks and said if he was 40 years younger he would have went home with him. But he said he was too good looking to make a coonhound...............I guess old Boss proved him wrong.

Logan

Logan will be 12 next week and I will not be breeding any more outside females to him. I do not have any semen stored on him so If anyone is looking to get some of the Logan blood you will need to look at one of his sons or daughters for pups. Logan is doing well and has actually stayed in really good condition this summer. His last breeding was AI and the semen was good but the female did not stick. I have no immediate plans to breed anything here to him.

I still enjoy hearing about Logan's Pups out of the crosses he sired. One of the most successful crosses was on a Jagg's daughter down in Alabama. On the For Sale area there is a younger NiteCh male for sale.
