You're welcome Lee. I appreciate all that you have done for the bluetick breed.
Bull is doing GREAT. I took him over to Ralston Friday for a bench show.....he won the Champiom of Champions class with competition (from the Walker breed). The guys there guessed him to be around 3 years old by looking at him. He'll be be 8 in May. He still looks, acts and hunts like a 3 or 4 year old hound. He still loves to hunt and is still deadly accurate. His mouth is still louder than most other dogs and you can hear him running a track or treed at a mile deep just fine.
As soon as I notice this Echo gyp coming in heat I'll let you know and I'll bring her down and drop her off at your place for a few days.

There is certainly nothing wrong with mixing Echo with Bullet II. It just concentrates that specific part of Smokey River. If you really look at the two bloodlines they are nearly the same.

To the top for a reproducer of hard driving, intelligent tree dogs.

I remember that turnout... seems there was a third dog on that tree...a little scrawny young dog, kinda light colored, . But yes sir, Yankee and Blaze lit that one up. Here is a bullet grandson that sure is a pleasure to hunt... Won 6 of 8 casts, with me handling him nonetheless.

Yep Tom I still have those pics. I remember your favorite trait at that time of Yankee was his track speed, and on the first turn out you couldn't believe how fast bullet II was and you called him "wheels" from then on.lol.

And Matt, Snowman turned into a true coondog bud, but he is still ugly.lol Just messing with ya.

Thanks for the memories boys.

Thanks a lot Trey. Glad to hear you are still in in the woods with the hounds. Dad and I both are unable to hunt much, but I still make myself go every now and then.

Good hearing from you.

I remember the name and I remember I lived in Hugo at the time. Was that Waylon Riggs female?

If so he was from Monroe OK.

We just got another Champion of Champions win on Bull tonight. That makes 3 Champiom wins back to back in 3 weeks. That's pretty good for a blue dog that's almost 8 years old and competing against other breeds more than 1/2 his age. He still looks, acts and hunts like he's 3 or 4 years old. He has several wins in the water races and field trials so hopefully we can have him finished into a Quad Grand later this year. We have a one year old Nite Champion femle out of him that is doing a good job in the woods.
Thanks again to you Lee for all of your hard work in promoting this line of dogs.

James Lacey
