WB, congrats on getting Willow bred, hope she has a big litter of healthy pups for u. If ur ever in NW PA on a Tuesday, look me up and I'll give u a free lesson on gambling at the Erie casino. Usually, play the slots, but I've won (and lost) a few 100 playing 3 card poker. Collars for bears...makes me wonder how many orphan bear cubs can there be??? The Fish commission here microchips rattlesnakes!!

Rob, I have a good friend that was from Baltimore, she didn't like it either . She moved here with her horses and her husband worked there (4) 10 hr days and came home on the wkends. He retired a few yrs ago and they moved to CO. They love it out there.

Hope everyone has a good day. Its going to be warm here today and warmer tomorrow. We have hay down, not much; but hopefully enough the horses won't have to eat snowballs this winter.
Have a couple coming tonight to pick blueberries....the birds have been getting more than their fair share. Deer are coming in biting off some of the bushes and eating the apples that are falling.

Thanks for the good luck wish, Corky. It worked!! Came home $100 ahead! Love fresh corn on the cob, ours isn't looking too hopeful.

Hot and humid here today. Got all our first crop hay in. Tried getting what was left yesterday, but it wasn't dry enough. Got the last 50 bales in today. We just reseeded it this spring, got 160 total off it. Chuck didn't think we'd get 100 off it. Had 500 made from the older fields in June.

Darn rabies is scary. I posted on a thread someone started about rabies cases in PA, that there were 2 more cases last month. 1 was a coon with porcupine quills in it, it was about 10 miles from here. The other was a fox that was attacking a horse about 20 miles from here a different direction. Rob, I found a map on rabies in PA and posted it on that thread, too. Did u c it?

Never been to CO. But have been to other western states on the way to Port Ludlow WA. Beautiful country! My mom and sister always wanted me to go with them to Germany and Italy when my brother was stationed there. I told them I'd rather see the USA.
