Hope everyone had a Happy Father's Day. Chuck's sister invited us to her house. She had a graduation party for her granddaughter/Father's Day cookout. She makes the BEST RIBS!! Lots (really too much) of good food.
To beat the heat this afternoon, we rode the Harley to the casino. We had to stop twice on the way up to give our body parts a break. On the way home, 4 times. It sux to get old! Didn't win any $

Hay Randy...welcome. I'm kind of new here, too. When we bred our Redbone last yr, the guy that had the stud dog suggested that I advertise the pups on here.
Rob, we had a Harley chopper yrs ago. After our son was born, we didn't ride it much so we sold it. Chuck almost cried. He said he'd have another after Corey was older. About 10 yrs ago, I sent him to my friend's yd sale to look at a canoe, some equipment to work on our lane and some ATV tires and wheels. He came home with all that PLUS. One of the pluses was a picture of her HD. I said "no way" She had told me it was for sale and what she wanted for it. It was her bike, 2 of her friends had recently been killed rriding and she didn't want to ride anymore. Her husband had been drinking and of course offered to him at a price no one could refuse. But the next day sobered up and changed his mind. Months later, my friend called and said she was coming down on the price and was giving us 1st chance. I told her if she'd deliver it by Christmas, I'd get it for him. Her husband brought it up from FL on Christmas Eve. It only had 3000 miles on it. Its a 1996 Heritage Softail. We don't ride alot, but it has over 20,000 miles on it now and is probably the dirtiest HD in PA.

Rob I did see one of them Bluetick training devices cross the road on the way home are you going to join the new kennel club there having a blast on the about this possum thing thread I must say I find it amusing myself Shannon should be super excited there would be a Bluetick World Champion

Dan probably not Willow came in heat she is at Richards he breed her to Boone than Samantha came in a week later she is breed to Hoss than 2 weeks later Storm came in so that just leaves me with Avalon Sam's 21 days is up now I am on a quest now to see if I can get her to grand nite if I do it would make her a triple grand a first for me I need 3 more wins so depending on how hot it is I will more than likely head down to North Carolina to a night hunt

74° here just a pretty day.

After working this weekend I have a day off & feel pretty good. The ladies brought home another kit, then made a beeline to the west pasture when I let them out at 3 hours ago.

So I'm going to gear up to pick gooseberries & snack on raspberries. Also check on the den trees & see what the dogs are doing. I'm on the 500 acres, the dogs are welcome on surrounding farms. I've been at work & did a double take when I saw Grace riding shotgun with the 90 year old farmer. She takes him coon hunting in his sheds, she gets a doughnut & it tickles him.

You just never know what they'll bring home. Grace is in the picture but little Lucy was the one trotting down the driveway with it. There isn't much road traffic & they stick to ditches. No yuppy mini farms around just cattle & crops, the dogs don't bother cattle.

Had 8 in bench show. Got a champion win on both my female and male. None for field trial. Did a water race and my male just wanted to stand in box and bark. Then did a practice run and he swam fine lol. Didnt participate in nite hunt. Me and the wife just pleasure hunted. Needed to get my female goim on coon. They treed one. She half a$$ed opened on track and tree behind my catfish dog. I was proud of her.

I just woke up from my nap dreaming I was hunting blueticks could hear that long, lonesome , bawl In the distance (at least 10 feet ) as he worked up that 8 hr old cold track got it jumped ( 15 ft now ) and located with that long , quivering , warbling , penetrating , deep down, rejuvenating , exciting , never ending bawl and then broke it over to that ooooooah, ooooooah,ooooooah that only blueticks do so well (16 1/2 ft ) now and after that long walk looked up the tree and I could seeeeeee ..... Possum bones ..... Then I woke up in a cold sweat and dizzy I wonder if the people that own them get that way.

They are tuff on them blue dog's
