Congrats on the title ole buddy it is well deserved.

And thank you so very much for helping me in this time of need.
my surgery is scheduled for May 1st. I'm gonna get a plate with some screws.
They are callin it A complete reconstruction of my wrist.

For those are you that hasen't heard last friday night I slid off the side of about a 8ft bluff and landed about 6 or 8ft in the middle of a creek and shattered my wrist in 6 places.

But no worries Vanderbilt has some fine surgeons

I would like to say thank you for all of the congratulations on Jack's NITECH. He is a good dog and deserves the title, but I couldn't have gotten here alone.

It took quite the team effort with me being in the military and being so unpredictable with my schedule. Here is a list off the top of my head I would like to thank:

Larry Stringer: without him there would be no Jack.

Jonathan Christmas: without him and his family's kindness I wouldn't have had much of a place to train Jack.

Sabrina Smith: without her advice on showing...well he would just be NITECH, not a GRCH as well. =)

The FINE folks down at the Winonna hunt: You are all an inspiration to me and I look up to you more than you know.

My Wife, Amanda: I have no clue how on earth she puts up with being a Soldier's wife AND a coonhunter's wife....she truly is a Saint and my best friend on this planet.

Well Jack gave us a scare last night. He got loose...he even decided to leave his collar....yeah.

So I get a call from Amanda stating that Jack is "gone" I nearly crapped on myself. Unfortunately I was knee deep in my work and had to finish it. So on my way back I called to see if there was any update. I knew at that point he was either dead on the road or treed. Amanda said that she thought she heard him. I said, "good I'll be there shortly." When I got there I could hear old Jack knocking it down in the valley....and boys he sounded good too. I went and collected him up underneath the meat.

I guess he just couldn't wait for me to get home to go. LOL.

I have taken measures to keep this from happening again....I don't need a heart attack...

I'm gonna try to get in the woods with a old dog jus to see if I can make it happen. It's been 14 days since they put the plate in my wrist and it still has a long way go but I've been gettin the itch pretty bad.
