It was a beautiful day in NW PA. Didn't sleep much last night so I had a slow morning. My friend called and wanted to come over because she got me an early bday present. She bought me a denim purse...we buy each other "lucky" purses. She's my casino buddy. So far we kind of suck at buying each other lucky purses But we keep trying. I'm going to be armed next Tuesday with my lucky wallet another friend got me with elephant trunks up and my new purse. I've been going once sometimes twice a week. Really need to cutback if I don't start bringing some casino $ home.

Chuck mowed the yd today, he put blue dye in the pond a few days ago and there's enough blossoms on the fruit trees that it looks like we live on a piece of heaven. As that thought was going through my head today... Dandy and Ruby ran out and crapped in the orchard, back to reality.

So I pulled weeds in my flowers and asparagus until I got a blister, then I went riding for a couple of hrs.

CASINOS CAN BE FUN BUT YOU HAVE TO BE SMART ABOUT IT. I LIVE ABOUT TEN MINUTES FROM ONE. WE GO ONCE OR TWICE A YEAR. WE EACH TAKE 20 BUCKS AND THAT IS IT. DO YOU KNOW OF ANY WELL BRED BLUE PUPS AROUND OR BREEDINGS PLANNED? I KNOW OF A FEW ENGLISH LITTERS AND I MAY GET ONE. MY OLDER FEMALE PASSED THIS WINTER SO I ONLY HAVE ONE HOUND NOW. REALLY LIKE THE HOLLY CREEK SMOKEY DOG IN VA, BUT THATS A GOOD DRIVE.

If i was in the market for a pup. And iv been tryin to talk myself out of it lol but if i was id call paul. Leon has been bred a few times here lately and paul has multiple pups comin his way from them. But he cant hunt em all. Id call him or whoever hes bred to. Years previous iv heard hes been producin. My plan is once i finish catfish id like to get a nice female pup outa leon to be bred to catfish. Or get my female goin nice and breed her to leon. But wit my knee i havent been able to get my young female goin. Let alone just in the woods. She needs to be hunted bad.

I know a couple that lost their house because of spending too much at the casino. I'm far from that, but need to cut back a bit.
Had a first today...I'll be 60 this summer and bought my first fishing license. I caught 5 bluegill. Only 2 were big enough to keep.

Catfish treed last nite 40yds off the rd. I was actually able to walk to the tree! I was excited.

Rained here all day today, but Thursday and Friday were beautiful. We were supposed to go to Huntingdon to help r son on Thursday, but he called and told us not to come at 6:30 am so we decided to try out r boat. We hadn't had it out since we had it worked on wks ago. I'll be 60 this summer and bought my first fishing license. Chuck's sister went with us, she caught the most fish, but I got the biggest. I had my line wrapped around a strap in the boat once, in a tree, Chuck had to cut it off once because it got all tangled up and once my pole came apart and the top half was in the lake. Chuck said he's buying me a cheap pole because he doesn't want me using his anymore. Probably should stick to riding horses.
