Yea i heard a low of low 30s this weekend. Glad i dont have my garden in yet. I havent been able to get anything done or hunted with my knee bein pulled. Just started goin back to work last week. But still limpin around. Not good enough for the woods yet. Im just lucky enough to have a wife thatl hunt catfish in the comp hunts. She wont hunt him along the week tho just comp. But tonight were goin up to hunt wit paul and leons for a hunt test

Cold and windy 39 and the only coon I saw tonight was crossing I 81 it was a much better night last night treed 3 and saw 2 setting up

Well I picked up a Nite CH win with Samantha Friday night at Back Creek with Samantha hope Jlittle let's me keep this one

And ch line and tree win with Storm in a field.trial and line win with Willow in registered hunted Hillsville Saturday night never treed a coon

Wanted to hunt this weekend but if the weatherman is right I am staying home I hunted the RQE at Elkton NC a few weeks ago and like to have drowned in the rain not to mention that red clay Mud and about getting stuck one cast did and had to get a tractor to get out rumor has it that Bobby Lowe is going to start Mud bogging and if you want to know how to dye your seat with red.clay Mud.colored. he can help you out or how to get a tow rope loose you know one of them with out the hook while laying in the mud and water in the middle of the night he is giving lessons we were have a lot of laughs about it Saturday night its funny now

Chuck had frost on the windshield when he went turkey hunting. Think it might freeze again tonite. Guess time will tell if it got the blueberries and apple trees.

Spent Saturday with friends at a horse/tack auction. They had lots of Quarter Horses. The highest price I saw was one that went for $4,000.00; a couple others went over $3,500.00. There was a gaited molly mule there that had been used for coon hunting, but she was towards the end and we left before she came in. Sunday was a family day, we took my mother-in-law, who's 92, to visit her 88 yo brother.

Sorry ran out of internet on my phone. On a jobsite at work with wifi. Catfish passed the hunt test on fri. And paul got his htx on leon same nite. That leon is a helluva good dog. He treed 3 in the hr. Catfish got one and was workin on another when time ran out. Sat nite at the little mtn music at blairsville catfish lost his cast by 50 but oh well. The dog that won deserved it.

Tuesday is 55 and over day at the casino so urs truly was there. I was up over $80 until I wasn't.
The dogs killed a groundhog just before I left, Chuck took it up to a fox den in our pines. He said they had been eating a fawn....all that was left were its ears! He caught four and his buddy caught 2 here last yr. I was afraid they would wipe them out. But we have a mom with 4 babies we see playing in the field. If they're going to kill fawns, we may need to trap a few more.

It was a beautiful day in NW PA. Didn't sleep much last night so I had a slow morning. My friend called and wanted to come over because she got me an early bday present. She bought me a denim purse...we buy each other "lucky" purses. She's my casino buddy. So far we kind of suck at buying each other lucky purses But we keep trying. I'm going to be armed next Tuesday with my lucky wallet another friend got me with elephant trunks up and my new purse. I've been going once sometimes twice a week. Really need to cutback if I don't start bringing some casino $ home.

Chuck mowed the yd today, he put blue dye in the pond a few days ago and there's enough blossoms on the fruit trees that it looks like we live on a piece of heaven. As that thought was going through my head today... Dandy and Ruby ran out and crapped in the orchard, back to reality.

So I pulled weeds in my flowers and asparagus until I got a blister, then I went riding for a couple of hrs.
