It gives the best of both worlds. It lets the Sunfire flood like the Sunspot when you need it.

Tried to pm u. Can I unscrew the battery pack from bump cap or do I need to send the whole outfit to get the new switch installed??

Michael . I bought a spotlight off rob giddings to use with my sunspot . Since I have the spotlight to go with it I've hunted 5 nights on this light and its still going strong ! Love this light best light I've ever owned

Ya that would make a nice addition to the Sunspot. For the taller trees. Its not needed with the Sunfire. Im glad you like your new switch on the sunspot. The lower clicks give it a lot longer burn times.
