Hey Corey took sky out there Saturday night. She took a track moved it real good, she made a lose there somewhere went quite for awhile. Then i tried calling her in she opened up couple more times then treed on a den tree but she wasn't very convencing on it. But man does she have a mouth on her. Oh another good thing saw 2 pussum and i know she went by them but she didnt tree on them.So fingers cross maybe it won't take much to break her. Taking her again tonight and seeing what happens.

How'd the hunt go last night? Did ok here for what little hunt time I actually got. Might have to take dutch back in to the vet.

Here's champ and pepper last night. big ol boar coon. Of course they went 3/4 of a mile in the wrong direction to tree him.

Thanks. Smokey backed on a grinner as time ran out cost me a first. Uno might get out in the next two nights. The coon seem to be movin better now so I pan on huntin him more.

Hopefully I will be hunting one of these pups, champ or pepper, but if not I will definetely handle hutch. If they keep looking like they did the last two nights they will be ready. I think hutch will do super out there in thick coon getting split. I would really like to finish him for you guys, kind of a personal vandeta.

As the storms were rollin in Smokey and Uno fell treed under a layup coon. Uno is just over eight months old.

What's this guy gonna do if I ever shoot a coon out or show him a live one??

Thanks for the picture. Looks good. Hopefully uno will really start cranking and kicking some rear this summer. He sure seems to show a lot of natural ability for his age. I wish Nakita would a had about 10 of um just like him.Is smokie out of Nakita too? Man it's been wet here. Made it out monday night and was going to try and get a short hunt between storms last night but that didn't happen. Gonna go tonight for sure though.

I might wait till next summer to put him in the hunts. You never know what you might draw over this way. And with my wife ready to pop, I have no idea how many hunts I'll make it to.

Smokey is out of Nakita and a male out of Levi. Only bred her twice. Uno has shown more at this age than Smokey did though. I don't know if I'll breed her again or not. I have been runnin her down the road quite a bit to get her in shape so we'll have to see.

I would wait too. I'm in the same boat here with champ and pepper. They are both close to being ready to go. I know they are just as good as some dogs in the hunts but I'm trying to be patient. They can be pretty impressionable when they are this young and all it takes is one bad night to set them back.

If Nakita can I would breed her again. You know she can reproduce.

Greg Mcdowell just called and said he has decided to sell one of his 9 month old females out of dutch and his female. He kept 3 originally and has decided to part with one female because he can't give them all equal time. His female is out of his Supernatural Magnum dog. The pedigree is back a few pages. He said she is good looking pup with a nice bawl mouth. She has been to the woods a couple of times and went hunting opened on track and treed some. Other than that she has not messed with her much. If anyone is interested let me know and I will put you in touch with Greg.

Ya before we got washed away I'd been out 8 of 10 nights. Went the last 2 nights as well, so I'm staying in tonight be lazy. Hopefully I'll be hunting champ or pepper out there if not I might hunt one of stuffy's dogs. We are leaving wed evening after I'm done with school.
