Nothing boneheaded about the call you made JJ!! I have seen that dog tree hundreds of coon, and I can count on one hand the number of times he has thrown his locate, and not been treed!! And of those times most have involved him with a fence!!Lol!! If I had been there two bonehead would have treed him!! I would have treed him before he got his locate all out!!

Old ram was firin on all cylinders tonite! Was winning the whole time with 737 1/2 and 23 minutes to go. Other dog that was left treed a coon to beat us rite before the hunt was over and ram got treed by himself a couple minutes after the hunt was over. He looked really good tonite treed 3 coon by himself not counting the one he treed after the hunt was over and was altogether on a red hot smokin coon. Really happy with his performance tonite, don't like gettin beat but I think this was a good tune up for the zones later this year!

My Rambler x Powder pup finally made it to NH and all I can say is WOW! What a beautiful, well built pup. I believe I got last pick and couldn't be happier. Rambler is certainly throwing some beauties. Thank you Jake Lay for sending me such a nice pup. I will keep all of "Team Rambler" updated on his progress...

JJ sounds like you had quite the ordeal tonight!!! They might have prevented you from getting in, but a cast win in that situation against another high powered dog brings me some satisfaction. Sounds to me like you guys put on quite a show!!! Great job!!!

Thanks tom, he looked good, just too bad we couldn't score the other 2 coon he treed, but a CW in that kind of cast is good for sure.

Last nite puts rambler at $448.50 for the year and $673.50 lifetime. If my figuring is correct he should be 12th in the state, but its not updated yet.

3rd Place WTDA Grand Nationals New Phila, Ohio 4-27-13

Not alot of people know about WTDA, but our club held their Grand National hunt this year. Rambler won his cast hunting some tough strip mine/deep hollow territory and ended up 3rd overall.

Well I fell asleep after work and didn't make it to Middlefield tonite so I figured I'd take the old boy out for a pleasure hunt. Struck bout 2 minutes in, ran a track through some thickets and fell treed with mr. ringtail
