Congrats Scott with Tater's win. He is looking good.

Pr Red Fever's DarkSide ( Maggie X Rip) won BOS Female at Blue Knob CHA in Entriken, PA. This puts her only 5 points away from bench champion.

Pr Red Fever's Bandit Beware came in second in the treeing contest with 116 barks per min.

We also put both of them in their first Field Trial's.

Melissa, I know Aub had a great time with you and Doug last weekend. It's always nice to draw out with friends and go have a good hunt - win or lose.

Thought some of you might be interested in an update we got from Kenny Deal on his Rip X Maggie male (littermate to Daffney and Tater):

"Hi Aubrey and Ann
Here are some pics. of Reb treed with the meat solo at 15 months old! Its really dry up here and tracking isnt the best but he got the job done and had the coon. Talk to you later."

Hey Kenny Reb is looking good. His brother got one on the ground tonight after a super long race. I had to drive 1.2 miles to catch up to him. That was after I called Aub and accused "HIS" dog of possibly chasing a deer. Sure was happy it wasn't my dog possibly chasing a deer. Mine caught the coon. A really mad coon. I've never had one attack me before. Tater dived in and saved me and took one for the team. Such a good boy.
Enjoy the vid. We've got a long weekend ahead of us. We'll see some of you this weekend.

Scott, Aub says if you have any more deer problems with "His" dog, just let him know......he'll be right over to get him!

Rip and Digger had a good night and treed a couple. This was Digger's second night to the woods; he has been doing very well in training and running drags, and has been ready for the woods for quite a while now, but Aub just hasn't had the time. So far, he runs tracks well and is a super hard treedog.....skys the limit!

I went out hunting for awhile have to post pictures tomorrow anyway first track put in a hole about three feet around and four feet deep up a very steep hill hard to get down with a bad back but made it. Next track run down a old creek bed caught him on blacktop road. Next drop ran a short track give four long locates than hard chop and had the meat . Sure make's daddy proud sure glad for garmin on the first drop might have looked a long time for him.

win. FINALLY...... It was along time coming.
It came right down to the last drop. The last 19 minutes were grueling. Redbone against the dreaded spotted walker. Rip down by 75. Walker strikes and is pushing the track.
Rip strikes in and quickly tree's. Rips' five is up and coon is quickly seen. Rip is now leash locked and 13 minutes to go.
Tic toc tic toc the walker is on the clock. Walker's handler with 3 seconds left tree's his dog out of hope and desperation. Rip was not to be denied last night. Good cast and great dog work with an outstanding guide who put them on coon. Only one other cast came in with better scores. That was a nite champ cast.

It was a great cast, outstanding dogs and an awsome guide who put them on coon. Truely a night too remember and I was glad to have been part of it.

What's the deal with pointing out that it was 3 walker dogs in the cast? Way to rub it in a little more...

Amazing weekend for the Red Fever Team.

Pr Red Fevers Darkside, Daffney ( Rip x Maggie cross) also won class and breed in Morgans Town, Pa Saturday, she is now a bench CHAMPION.

Pr Red Fevers Bandit Beware, Ellie May (Boo x Rip cross) and Daffney also did their best in the treeing contest. Came up short on BPM to win but huge slobber mouths and huge thunderous voices that everyone was proud of!
