Rob the weather is going to be ugly for opening day but i will be there, if WB can coon hunt in a storm i can turkey hunt in one. Corky may be right about you keeping turkeys around but we can;t do that here although WB may try something like that to keep coons around. Hope everyone is well, and congrats to J Little on a fine looking little coon hunter. ---- see ya

YOU AND CORKY ARE RIGHT ABOUT THE YELLOW STUFF WORKING. WE CAN NOT HUNT TURKEY OR WATERFOWL OVER IT. AND SINCE I DO NOT BREAK LAW I WILL NOT HUNT OVER IT. NOW I CAN HUNT DEER OVER BAIT ON PRIVATE LAND WITH LAND OWNERS PERMISSION. COON HUNTING I HAVE TREED SEVERAL COON OVER CORN ON STATE GROUND. GUESS THOSE WHO PUT CORN THERE ARE OUTLAWS, LOL.

--- i seen 2 coyotes and could;nt get a shot, called in 3 gobblers and i messed up--crippled one and he got away, the weather was terrible blowed snow hard all morning got to keep trying.--- see ya

Darn snow followed us south to Columbus, but still having a good time here with friends at the Equine Affair. Glad we came yesterday because I talked to friends that came down this AM and they said the rds were terrible.

Corky, good luck getting ur truck fixed. That darn tame turkey that flew into my car, did almost $900 damage! The owner said he didn't have insurance. My car insurance paid for all of it but $50. I called the guy and told him, he said he'd send me a ck for $50. Time will tell...everyone said he should have turned it into his home owners.

We're home from Columbus...more snow here about 6" Its suppose to rain tomorrow so it shouldn't last long. Had a nice time with friends this wknd ...lots of horse stuff to look at during the day and eating, swimming and hot tub in the evenings.
My son lives near Altoona, we went there to a restaurant for Thanksgiving .

It rained almost all day here so the snow is gone except where it was plowed into piles.
My son was about 1/2 hr from Altoona but he moved, he's closer to State College now. But he still likes going to Altoona, he said its easier to drive there.
Texted all the folks that bought puppies from us today tp see how they were doing and to remind them they needed rabie vaccination and license. Heard back from 5, pups are doing well.

Rob, glad to read ur leg is better, hope u have a full recovery.
Had a great day out with the hubby today. Talked him into celebrating r 33rd anniversary a little early. Went to the casino for me (walked out $200 ahead) but then we went to Dicks, Gander Mt and Field and Steam for him. He blew all my winnings PLUS!! But I think he's ready for spring turkey and trout season (if he gets his fishing license and trout stamp). Loved looking at all the mounts at Field and Stream. Asked an employee about an extra collar for r Garmin 320, and then got talking about the mounted deer heads. My husband asked him if he had the non-typical record there. We told him we knew it was in a sporting good store in Erie because my uncle shot it in the 1940's. He got on his radio and asked for a guy...as soon as I heard the name, I knew it was my cousin's son. I haven't seen him since he was a little boy..he's now a manager there. He didn't know us, but it didn't keep us from having a nice short visit and he hopes to get the mount from the store in town and put it in his store soon.

We went to the Altoona Field and Stream when we were down for Thanksgiving, too.
Winning BIG would be nice, but then Uncle Sam wants his unfair share. I'm happy WINNING enough to pay for gas and food and a little xtra doesn't hurt .
