They have had to go 2 times to get these pups off trees in the woods and they did not miss a beat !!!
Sure learn alot more running loose than sittin in a pen!!!

EVER SINCE I READ ABOUT GAUGE IN THE COONHOUND BLOODLINES IVE HAVE ALWAYS WANTED A PUP OFF OF HIM. I FINALLY GOT A 2 YEAR OLD GYP OFF OF HIM AND MAXY. SHE SAW HER FIRST COON THE OTHER NIGHT IN A ROLL CAGE AND THE VIDEO SPEAKS FOR ITSELF.

Harvy looked real good last nite! Made 6 drops, first one ended in a hole and it was 5 singles in a row after that! This dog is really comin along great!!

Made outlaw a grand show champion today. Gotta get off our butts and get him finished in the hunts!

What a difference 8-9 hours of travel makes in the weather!!! It was 70 degrees when I pulled into Danny G's last night!
We were joined by Sparky and GRNT Star and Robert Carrol w NTCHPiper I had Gauge and Danny had Alice for a pleasure hunt! First time Gauge has been out since fall and his girls took turns showin what was up!! Alice split once on a den then we recast 1 more time w gauge and Alice ending up treed together from 2 different directions but no coon seen. Nice hunt w some good fellows and good hounds thanks for takin us Danny!!
That little Piper female is quick!!! Star was nice as always. Danny was glad to see Alice tree once with all the dogs on Pipers tree after her last outing w dogs.
See ya at Ashland. Harvey and Tommy as well as Stone will be hunting and maybe Piper as well.

Jeff no problem at all meeting you guys. I'm gonna keep those 2 males that you saw out of Gauge and Hemi!! As a result of that I'm going to sell a female out of that cross. She was my pick and a real good looking female dark with light tan trim,good feet and legs,nice head and a good mouth!! I will put a post up with some pics and videos as soon as I catch a coon.

Wayne sent me a PM that he hunted Hemi and liked what he saw!! I wish him the best of luck with her in the future both at the hunts and the whelping pen!!! The PKC hunts in that area will be a little more lively now for sure!!!

right now i am training a female for bob gutzwiller that is getting a late start but is looking very good and she is a ch on the bench with one win towards grch. he also has a male that looks exactly like gauge. this dog can really throw some good pups.

Congrats to Robert carrol he finished Piper to CHNTCHHTX this past weekend on a night coon weren't moving all that well!!!

I have a couple here the same cross as Piper and i sure hope they get it done as quick as she can on a coon when i get them started!!

PThomas - hope you have fun with that female and keep me posted on her. Guage does throw his likeness in a few areas on nearly every cross. I have a male here out of hemi that is also a spitting image of him. IF he makes it in the woods as well as his littermates he is a candidate for Gauge II.

There is a Real nice young male FORSALE that is a littermate to Harvey who is posted above.
This dog has real good looks, nice feet,and legs and looks just about like Gauge. He has a very nice mouth.
He is running, treeing and starting to really put it together.

This is from the Gauge X Sage cross, with Sage recently passing away it won't happen again like i was hoping.
The living pups which i think are 4 ALL run and tree coon!!! From what i saw early this pup is going to have exceptional track speed.

This young dog has light brown /orange eyes.

He is currently in OHIO and if not sold before can be brought to Bluetick Days. Erik Fisher owns him call 440-344-0614 with questions.

Wanted to congratulate Robert on another CW with Piper 675+ no minus a good score this time a year but not enough to get the NTCH win.

I have a male out of the 2nd GaugeX Rain cross who's light has turned on. Time will tell but he looks to have that something special.

I have some hard choices to make here soon as I find myself with more young dogs than I can do justice.
Would be willing to partner with good young Hard hunters on some of these Gauge pups. Shoot me a PM if you are in need of a nice young dog and are able to hunt and campaign one. Worth more to me to see a youngster w ambition and desire have something to work with than the little bit of $$ you can sell them for.
