BRYAN,

Powder will open on a good track and has a good mouth,but she is a outstanding tree dog and has a triple chop on the tree most of the time.she is in heat right now and I wish she could have waited for a month.your not done hearing from her.its good to hear Boomer is looking better and I would just keep him in the timber.good luck with him.

yeah its not Boomers fault he's not turning out well yet. Mine, for not getting him in the woods. he hunts well and always using his nose in the air.

Just getting in and another productive night in the woods until the fog set in. I picked up Toby-Stinger X Cadles Midnight Dixie.He sure is a good looking hound,he has a nice bawl mouth and sure hates a coon.
I will be posting pictures of some of my pups around noon.

THANKS FOR THE CALLS.

I`ll know more on friday which male or males are left.Tree Daddy is reproducing coonhounds that are well balanced in every area.they have a knack of finding a coon and doing it quick.
Jim`s Fly is off of Ch PR ELLIS BLUE JIM semen and her first litter out of Stinger are turning it on.If your serious about treeing coon and doing it in style I feel this cross will be it.I said few years back TREE DADDY IS ALL COON HOUND, NOW HIS PUPS ARE THE SAME WAY!

IF I CAN BE OF ANY SERVICE TO YOU GIVE ME A CALL OF PM ME.

TREED TWO LAST NIGHT.

A friend of my family wanted 2 coon to eat so I shot two out last night.
Does anybody have a couple good receipts on how they fix them.

Take the kernels out of the legs, clean as much fat off em' and throw them in the crock pot for a day.

coon recipe

1-8 to 12 lb. coon
cayenne pepper to taste
black pepper to taste
salt to taste
1 large onion chopped
1 cup celery chopped
1 bell pepper chopped
flour for gravy
lard or shortening for gravy and browning coon
6 medium sweet potatoes

make sure glands are removed from under coons legs,glands are about the size of a pea.soak coon in 1/2 cup vinegar to 1 gallon of water for 1 hour.drain coon.salt and pepper coon and cover with water.add cayenne pepper,onion,celery, and bell pepper and parboil until partially tender.remove from heat and drain.brown coon in small amount of lard or shortening,then place coon in roasting pan.make thin brown gravy,seasoned as desired.pour over coon in roasting pan and place peeled sweet potatoes around and bake in 350 degree oven until sweet potatoes are done.

Matt, we had it today and it sure was good.

Thanks,I`ll give the receipt to my friend.one of the male pups are going to Alabama . If any interest they will be traveling I-65 to I-75 so he could bring one back for some gas money to help him out.the other guy is suppose to contact me today so i`ll know which one is left.thanks guy`s.

I`ve been getting questions on Stinger,he`s still here and doing well.he gets hunted every week a few drops hes a tough hound and always on the move.
It`s just time for Tree Daddy to get a little attn. before he gets to old if all goes well he has a big 35 pups on the ground and 19 after august 1st.he has 8 beautiful pups out of Sam`s Fanny female they were born thanksgiving day.
