Thanks Max! All the pups, even the off color one are doing fine. Jade pups are five weeks old and been eating strictly dry food for a week. Been feeding grain free wild Buffalo puppy chow and let me tell you they sure can do some eating. Have some put some picture of the pups, Jade, Little V and Riptide. Little V, he is a horse with some legs! Gets hot pretty quick so have not pounded him very hard yet.

Eddie I'm not color blind and could not turn down one out this Holstein cross. Should be some type of real tree dogs out of this cross. But we are still partial to our Blue roots! LOL!

Well dad was right, he said he was going to win the Grand Champion class at Plott Days at Adams TN with Riptide and he did it. There was 2 Plotts and a Walker in the finals and he pulled it out. Really Old Riptide pulled it out, we gonna try our luck tonight in the hunt. Not to bad for a common blue dog. LOL

Jerry we came across a good guy that has a female that is a very, very good breed Bitch and one that has proven herself in the winner circle, heavy Jet Breed bitch / background is top 10 reproducing female so she fit the bill. Looks like we will be raising another litter off of her the next heat cycle and oh yes we will keep a few and so is the bitches owner. Like I have always said, I feel the female has as much to do with the pups outcome and maybe even more than the stud does. Been looking for the right one to breed Riptide too and think we have this right! A good old common coon dogs plus a top bitch should get us a couple Blue dogs that will tree a coon once in a while! LOL!

Max we tried to get a picture of the two together and the ones holding them did not do a very good job, have to fire them! LOL! Little V on the left and Riptide on the right. Took Little V to the vet today for a check up and he weighed 78 lbs and won't be 9 months old until Aug. 11th, Riptide is 63 lbs. Little V's size has defiantly slowed his training down as he gets hot pretty quick. He gets around very good for size but just get hot and don't want to burn him up. Little V will be a pretty good size hound once he fills out don't you think? LOL!

Kyle I think he will be Junky,(LOL) he will tear the pen down trying to get to the rabbits and Squirrels in the yard, the squirrel is running him nuts! Let me tell you that little feller is high strung and bold as they come. Can't wait until he is ready. Like his actions, not afraid if anything or anyone!

Riptide treed at 6:50 AM. Hit the woods around 5:00AM and treed once and seen three. It was nice and cool this morning, ready for fall!

Well Corey Hunted Riptide at the BBOA Zone 5 Sectional at Hawesville Kentucky and he won King of hunt. Riptide had a score of 450 plus and no minus and there was three trees scored on in the cast with coons seen.

Thanks Max, started out of the gate a little slow but ended up the right way. Stay out of the minus category and got lucky and Riptide kept quite and treed a few quick ones. Got in on some private land and they called time out and had to catch the dogs running about 600 plus yards. Called Riptide a couple minutes and he came too us without the walk thru beans, corn and large creek, some had to drive around to get theirs, right Charlie? LOL! Nothing like a hound that will handle especially when you get a little older!

Eddie/ Roy thanks alot. We had a pretty good hunt with a good group of people, we got into some coons towards the end of the hunt. Old Riptide does what he does best tree coons. Old Charlie Morris won Queen of the hunt with Elvira also.

Well Little V should have made it to his new home by now. Little V now resides in Northern Indiana and the home of Mackie Manns Sr.. We know he could not have found a better home and wish Mackie nothing but the best. With all them coons they have he should have him a cranking before you know it. It is for sure in the blood!

Took a hunt with Max Sr. and Max Jr. tonight and we had a pretty god little hunt. We took Daisy, Riptide and Dozier. We made two drops and treed four. Not a bad hunt with a couple pretty good part time Blue guys! LOL!
